Been lucky enough to see Lynn 5 times since her first Rounder release. Truly one of my favorite artists of all time. Her music speaks to me.

@DonaldDeezPlace - I saw her recently, and I love her songs! She's a wonderful live performer. I'm curious what records she did on Rounder? After seeing her I bought all of her current CDs on the True North label, but if she has earlier material I'd like to get hold of some of that too. Do you have any info on that?

@Morgteck oh man, I can't tell you what Lynn's music means to me. It got me through some times in my life. Her lyrics strike a chord with & her music speaks to me in ways no other artist has. Im glad you are experiencing this wonderful artist as well. On Rounder: "Night In A Strange Town" & her first (and my fave) "Slightly Haunted". She also has a fairly obscure first album floating around out there called "Chalk This One Up To the Moon". I'm lucky to have found a copy, but it's quite different

@DonaldDeezPlace - Yeah, I feel the same way about her. She's as good as it gets. I'm a singer and songwriter myself and I have the very highest opinion of her writing and performing. I do covers of several of her songs now. I've ordered "Night in a Strange Town" and "Slightly Haunted" off Ebay, and I was lucky enough to track down a tape of "Chalk This One up to the Moon" from a musician friend of mine...am going to transfer it to CD.
