She was still fantastic by any definition of the word, but there is no denying that she she was losing it towards the end. She was slurring her words, likely due partially to alcohol/drugs, but she still had her personality behind every line. The biggest thing was she got pitchy toward the end. If you can find it, listen to her Trolly performance from this london run. "at the end of the line, line, line..." she is struggling with the pitch, and holding the note. Still love that woman.

This song was identified with Judy as much as "Over the Rainbow" was (same composer, Harold Arlen)- and, no matter how "down and out" she was near the end of her life, she NEVER gave her audiences anything less than what they expected of her when performing those songs. It's even more poignant when you realize that, six months later, Judy was never going to perform them again....

Always wondered why people couldn't just enjoy this awesome soulful singer...easy for many to be negative but remember playing "Judy In London, 1969" endlessly, sad that Judy Garland now was gone but never will be forgotten and our sweet supremely talented angel lives on through these wondrous youtube posts for us long time fans to savor & enjoy and new ones to discover the greatest ever...Bravo Judy, love and miss you and RIP

Judy definately still had it at the end. She may have been ill - but she still sung really well. Does anyone else think her short, slightly, dare i say slurred, notes sound similar to the way Liza sings today? please dont hound me, i love the way liza sings, but does anyone else think so?

It's sad when compared to earlier years in better health, but she still blows other singers away. If you heard this from some unknown singer in a nightclub, you'd think it was a revelation.

The same year she overdosed...and still an AMAZING voice, still performing even though she was sick, and depressed to keep up with her many bills. the biggest inspiration in my life, KEEP GOING. even if you feel like you can't!

@Lightinthecorner I think we need to be careful making assumptions about Judy's "health" and the circumstances around her death. Wording is important; Judy didn't mean to end her life in 1969. She was in a fog of accumulated medications that intoxicated her tired out body, and her heart gave up. Yes, latterly she was frail and her voice not as pure anymore, but her emotional integrity when interpreting a song never faltered, ever.
