Western's were an odd locomotive livery-wise. They carried different types of liveries, such as Desert Sands, Orange, Ochre, Maroon etc. Other types of locomotives at that time carried the same livery as each other.
Though I do agree, the maroon colour portrayed by D1015/62 is by far the most appealing livery
Hmmm, mixed emotions there. I think they lack what I call 'Hellfire engines' such as Class 50s and Deltics, if you get me. Dont get me wrong, they arent bad, but, well there ok!
I actually somwhat agree with that considering the person I first learnt the term from a few years back was a Western ned. However they aren't the best thing in the land
