(the thing that looks like a person is his instrument panel, and you can see the line above it which is the clasp for the canopy) The pilot and jet are authentic footage, he's just on training and they have to turn around like that when they simulate dogfights and such with one another.

One way to tell if this is real is with video editing software. I think if you can slow the video down enough to watch the pilots helmet, it has a reflection with the window in front of him. The window in front of him should have a reflection of something behind him because of the sun. Hope that helps, or makes sense.
