  • @jet0l19 well ok then the show stole that quote for quote with a guy with the same voice.......how old is the song?i know the episode and everything cuz it tripped me out lol i was just listening to this song and then the show came on

  • @jet0l19 ha .hahahahhahahah

  • @TheFelixxRevolution It's definitely from the movie Rudy. Where the janitor was talking to Rudy in the empty entrance to the stadium.

  • @davidmurdaahh209 I already went over this with someone else.and they stole it word for word then and the voice is the same.Im not saying its not im sure the show did it as a joke and ive just never seen the movie but i know for a fact it sounds the exact same i had just listened to the song then watched tv and was like wtf? lol

  • @TheFelixxRevolution its from Rudy.

  • 5 people need to be shot

  • Love the clip from Rudy at the beginning, love the hook, love the real lyrics, the real flow, and the mellow nylon guitar over the top of it all. Most of all, I love slug. Number one best rapper on my list. Combine this song with God's Bathroom Floor and you have to of the best lyrical songs I've ever heard.

  • Im from 204 winnipeg north of minneapolis ! i visted minneapolis a few times nice city. i just didnt know the hip hop scene searched up found these guys YOU GUYS PUT A GOOD NAME FOR HIP HOP ON YOUR CITY ... much love respect pce

  • hopefully tracks like this being uploaded means youtube is spawning the death of the radio and the birth of the underground revolution, real hip hop suppression controlled by the radio nowadays is leading the way for mainstream brainwash music, this needs to stop.

  • @dman51590 That'd be true if they'd publicize it, or if people looked it up. But, they won't cause they wanna do what's cool

  • @dman51590 truthfully id rather keep it in the underground. they dont deserve to listen to the dope shit. even though real hip hop artists like these guys deserve the money the mainstream "artists" get. i always try to spread the word of the underground, ive converted a few people, some just dont get it though. which is fine, i know im listening to the sick shit.

  • @undergroundh1ph0p haha for real, we KNOW we're listening to that truthness.

  • @undergroundh1ph0p I feel you man it's like they don't deserve it if their not going to appreciate it.

  • @undergroundh1ph0p 8 *we are the chosen ones that know abount true dope under the ground hip*hop** stay keeping it to are selves*

  • @undergroundh1ph0p Thats exactly how I feel, also if I meet people who can't appreciate this music it tells me alot about their minds before I waste time figuring it out...

  • @dman51590 As good as that sounds, there will always be people that like crappy music.(lil wayne, drake, gucci mane, and the rest of that mainstream bullshit)

  • @dman51590 Vevo and other corporrations on youtube need to be destroyed.

  • @dman51590 The underground has the numbers, now we just need enough people to stand up and say ENOUGH of this commerical ass shit. Stop making a product out of our culture!

  • @dman51590 bro you're taking it a little overboard. underground is better and more meaningful than mainstream hip Pop. but you make it sound like the radio has some conspiracy against real hip hop and they want to brainwash people. they just like shitty music

  • amen to that

  • @dman51590 no man, it's okay that we stay underground, if we end up on the radio we become mainstream. We are the privileged ones who know where the real music is at, in the Underground.

  • @dman51590 dude i like underground music too and i hate new music but im not gonna waste my time trying to protest against it, its a thing that will always change and no matter how much you wish, you cant keep living in the 90's, dont you think people who like to listen to 70's music in the 90's wished that rap was never invented? they wish music didnt change either but it did and it always will, you cant live in the past

  • @iskateIB1 That would be true... but rap in the 90's raped about how it was a hard knock life in the "real hood" it didn't promote drinking cough syrup and shooting brothas for enough street rep to get a record label like rap of this new millennium, Rap nowadays has a negative effect on society. Get educated fool and look around yourself, kids are doin hard drugs earlier and earlier in there lives these days, When I was 11 years old in the 90's I was climbing a fucking tree and playin baseball.

  • @dman51590 your a dumb ass the 90's is where the crime rate was at it's highest if anything the only thing new music provokes is getting money and living good the90's was full of danger

  • @iskateIB1 I was talking about how it impacts societys attitude. At least in the 90's everyother little white girl wasnt tryin to get drybanged in a club by some rando stranger, the definintion of new music is bragging, and if your a famous with millions of followers and your bragging about shit you havent even done those kids are gonna try and get on your level whatever way possible and as young as possible.think about it ,nearly every kid that does drugs likes to brag about doing them.

  • @dman51590 yeah and 90's rap influenced killing and selling drugs thats why people would do it there is less crime today because the music is less raw and more goodboy rich shit

  • @iskateIB1 I was never talking about the past I was talking about the future, yeah you made your point the 90's were fucking vicious, but at least they spoke and rapped the truth so we could learn from it, its a part of history. I was saying that nowadays alot of it is brainwashing bragging that's nothing but a lie and negative impact on society. We hold the future of the next generation in our hands, and soulja boy and lil'wayne have a part in it, now wouldn't you like to shut them up, I would.

  • REAL

  • words cut deep

  • shawn lov? verse 2?

  • Keep it underground, keep it real.

  • lol, 5 emos accidently clicked on this thinking it was that bubblegum punk group Lost Prophets.

  • @xxBecomingxx emos lol

  • These guys are badass...always have been, I remember bringing them to Red Lake and they played a show here...

  • my fave song in high school fuck mainstream

  • Its kind of funny how this video has been up for almost 3 years and only has 5 dislikes. That means less then 2 people dislike this video every year, on average. And every 2 days someone likes this video. This has to be the most successful youtube video (rating wise.)

  • What the fuck is up with all these fake rappers with no substance and putting lil in front of their name... You know you'll never grow this way. Keep being narrowminded, see how far you'll make it. "never be REAL hiphop?"

son get your facts about hiphop straight. This right here is as real as it's gonna get.

Fuck lil weezy and fuck lil wayne, lil zane and all those lil rappers talking about jacking shit packing gats and fucking hoes. Studio Gangsters, none of that shit happens to them anyways.

  • look people, lilweezy is a troll. look at his page, he's got several atmosphere videos UPLOADED. he claims that it's because he liked slug at first and bla bla bla, he WANTS you to get mad. I fell for it too, but just enjoy the music

  • @poinnovate NO!!! NO!!!! Don't tell them. I'll be destroyed. Oh wait, with the exception of you and a few others these people are stupid as lil Wayne fans. Nevermind. lilwiz84 will live on.

  • this has to be the best sonq from them with SLUG killinq it.

  • this gets me mad, soulja boy is soo rich its not even funny, but he has no talent. Same with all those mainstream fags. theses guys have true lyrical talent nd are probably still struggling.

  • hahahahaah 420 likes i would like it again but fuck that

  • This 5 People who votes this negativ are Idiots ! NICE SONG !!!

  • anyone with weezy in there name should leave this thread. this is hip hop not autotune bullshit.

  • dope dope dope...

  • @BlackSoulAcid lol well you should like "spics" cause their heritage created this beautiful guitar sample they used for this song, which is probably the main reason i listen to this song...this beat is ill.

  • Check on my dope shit you fuckin lames.

I've got some truth for the few.

    -SLUM

    good night.

  • not that great

  • love this song

  • man all y'all need to shut the fuck up about lil wayne if you hate him so much then stop talkin about him. every other good rap song has lil wayne mentioned in the comments fuck man!

  • why does every underground hip hop youtube clip has a Lil Wayne mention.... fuck get over it!!! If we are all on here listening to this music we obviously have better taste than that shit.... let's share our wealth of underground music instead of creating youtube pollution

  • sickkkkkk slug is KING! i dont give a fuck whatanyone says !

    SLUG<3

  • @nancycakes5 he is a phuken geeeeee =]

  • holy fuck does this song ever take me back havent listened to it in years so dope still to this day

  • can people pleaseeee stop fighting and hating on these videos about Mainstream (atmosphere, immortal technique, murs, unknown prophets, etc..)

We all know you hate them because your listening to this song right now. Just say how much you like the song and post your favorite quote. Do you think they want to hear people bitching on there videos?

  • Kill troll with fire!

  • quit mentioning mainstream artist when we listen to the good shit right here! fuck that radio crap that the kids listen too, ignore all that and rock out too what makes your ears happy, which is slug!

  • @ScruffyBueno Im a kid, but I am not stupid enough to be drowned into that shit. So don't "...that the kids listen to...".

  • Who's Soulja Boy??

  • "never" is right. This will never be real hip hop. It will be forever be emo hop for whiny underground pussies.

  • @lilweezy1984 at least they don't constantly use an autotuner like lil wayne clown

  • @matchew303 Ok imagine my reply in autotune, underground hip hop is a joke

  • @lilweezy1984 Underground is where most of the real talent and actual passion for the music is; hardly a joke. The MTV "hip hop" cashmoney look at my shiny chain and rims image, now thats a joke!

  • @lilweezy1984 Iam make this short and simple, your a bitch Hiding behind a false ego and a cpu get the fuck off this page and go listen to something that suites your comprehension level this Real Hip hop is for those with a higher understanding of the art and passion for real lyrical ability. so go choke on lil fuckin pussies nursery rhymes you Bitch.

  • @VERSEtha1Nonly False ego? Okay. And I'm listening to Aretha right now. That's real music. It's not some little pussy comic book nerd talking about himself. Do you guys ever notice all slug talks about is himself and how hard things were for him? He's a bitch and an emo hop whiner.

  • @lilweezy1984 first off Im not trying to defend slug, till yesterday thats the first i herd of him. I am trying to express my anger toward the rap industry for commercializing rap and making it an image instead of an art form. and people like u who support this kind of garbage from ever making it to our speakers and crippling our creativity. and i bet the majority of the gimmicks rappers have no idea a large fraction the the ice they where came to their possession through the expense of many

  • @lilweezy1984 You no lil wayne sucks right ?

  • @lilweezy1984

You're the first mainstream fan that made some good points. Props to you on that. However, I appreciate the lyrical skill and creativity of the underground over the flash and fake produced hip hop that may actually sound better in the mainstream. I resepct your opinion though, you're the first person who actually made a valid point against underground.

  • @acaash I honestly have no problem with the underground or atmosphere or rhymesayers. I don't care for the music but they do what they do and have found success. I respect that they have found a way around the 9 to 5 life many of us have despite what we listen to. My problem is with the majority of their fanbase. Many of them are just as immature as I have made myself to be. People should just like what they like and not care what others think.

  • @lilweezy1984

    stick to commercial hiphop...

  • @lilweezy1984 Seems like someone has a crush on slug. I hate little wayne(sorry can't spell it the gay way like you) If you hated something so much why are you on it. It must suck being a troll with no life, friends, girl. Have fun with your music it keeps the jackasses like yourself away from intelligent people like us. Stop being jealous and be productive.

  • @oldrippy0024 Its easy to make assumptions about lilweezy, me, not Lil Wayne. I hate him too. He sucks and most people know it. The only difference is that his fans (mostly idiots) don't have to defend him like underground whiny fans. Why is this? Why do the majority of you give a fuck what i think about slug? If you guys really thought he was some lyrical genius, which he's not, you wouldn't care. You are no more intelligent than some clown who likes Lil Wayne.
