you should've tried with the pterodactyl in the fossil cave and the boss. i know it seems impossible but believe me i've tried and it makes that stage and boss the easiest ones. you fly fast over all ghosts and since there's a ceiling it's very easy to catch all fruits. then in the boss you can place yourself in the top margin on the left (by flying)when the boss shoots fire being down. fireballs cannot reach you if you're there, same happens being in the inferior margin and the boss being up.

So these ghosts chase you around when you get too close to them? That's more annoying than the Boos in SMW, since these ghosts only sneak upon you when your back is turned toward them.

The second level does look like it's a bit of a break; provided you know which egg to choose, you can just charge invincibly through the whole level.

Also, are those frogs just as annoying as they were in Adventure Island II or are they somewhat less broken now? (Assuming I remember correctly from your AI2 LP)

"Rolley" seems to work alright for the green dinosaur, though.

I think the frogs got slightly "nerfed" in the third game. I would say that the jump less far than they did in the second game. Could be just my imagination though, mainly because they don't use the frogs that much anymore compared to the second game.

In exchange they got the ghosts/thunder clouds and the snails (Or moles whatever they are).
