I was working with Dave (the fireman) on Cromwell down the sheds the previous Tuesday and he said "I'm firing Cromwell on Sunday so you can come and have a ride if you want" (of course I said yes!). The time was origianlly arranged for the 10:05 TPO but I ended up on there all day as he said there was no reason for me to get off!

How do you get the hi viz jacket? I thought you had to be over 18 to wander on the line?

I'm going tomorrow. I'll be the short guy in the blue oil stained boiler suit on shed, probably go down to the station bout 12/1 ish, will have finished by bout half 3, so will probably make my way down to loughborough station or king edward rd or something, come to the shed round 12:30 and i'll either be cleaning or eating lunch or on the platform filming. i'll bring 2 hi vis so we can go out under the bridge if you like (mine will be a bit oily but o well)

Can't I'm afraid because I'm on Holiday in North Yorkshire (going to the NYMR Wartime Weekend) I'll be back in a week though. So we'll have to meet up at the Wizards weekend or something.

wizard weekend will not be possible as i myself are in yorkshire: my cousins live in york and they are having a concert which my parents are performing in, and on the 7th i'll be at rudder for their bonfire night celebrations, so 14th, unless you're back on the 24th
