Music with real ingredients like this, makes my soul weep, and makes this harder than stone world....a softer world, a more graceful place, a place where I can actually stand alone or with many....and call it home.
@sffx12 No apparently Shia Lebeouf wanted to listen to Feist on the set of Transformers 3 to get into character but Michael Bay wouldn't let him. Instead I think he out on a song from the Batman movie. Shia was so mad that apparently he stormed of the set. I'm pretty sure he is a lot older than 16. But of course none of this can be proved. I heard the whole story on Etalk one of the few times I was watching it. Actually I'm kind of ashamed I was watching Etalk at all. lol
A destination known, only by the one whose fate is overgrown....A map is more unreal than where you've been Or how you feel And it's impossible to tell How important someone was And what you might have missed out on And how he might have changed it all And how you might have changed it all for him
Funny how the first version you hear is the one you become close to. This one just knocked me on my ass the first time I heard it. There's an Interpol song I heard a live version of first, and since then the album version just doesn't stack up. Interpol-Take you on a cruise-Live at Eurockeenes.
I'll be honest: I've always kind of thought that she's a Björk rip-off, and that Björk is a Nico ripoff... so how is it possible that I can love the music of all three equally?
@LaraElSupergirl I think the common thread there is merely quirky women who pursue music. i happen to think stylistically theyre all quite different so i dont think 'rip-off' is really the right term for any similarities they do share. all that asides I'm also a fan of all three.

Sa voix et son inspiration sont des choses rares. Des émotions que je n'avais plus connu depuis les premiers albums de Bjork.

Doctor - "Buy a Feist album, you moron!"

@jenny7943 So true! Nothing by Feist is ever "bad", but this version is so much better than the other version, it's not even funny.
