  • Dust Devil ;)

  • ARE YOU STUPID TAKE SHELTER!!!

  • INTERESTING VIDEO...!

  • No such thing as "mini-tornado". No such terminology exists. Its either a tornado or its not. Calling it a "mini-tornado" makes it sound harmless. Just coz the tornado is small, doesn't mean it won't cause a lot of damage.

  • @iheartsupernatural, oviouslly not, its just wind and its soooo fun to be in one. its tornados that r dangerous

  • are dust devils dangerous to be around?

  • @iheartsupernatural no, perfectly safe

  • I want to touch it!!!!

  • awww so cute

  • i was in it befoe

  • the thin sand lining makes it look beautiful :)

  • FF11の風のエレメンタルみたいだ

  • I Remembered the time when it was evening i was on my grandma's house it was windy i borrowed my mom's cellphone then i saw a funnel cloud which it didnt touch down i took a video of it with my friends my dad said "you should have been closer so you take a nice look" we followed my dad's advice then i saw a clear look of the funnel near my cousin's house that was one big story

  • I woulda liked to see it destroy some kid's sand castle.

  • I think thats probably one of the mot beautiful nature spectacles i senn in my life

  • It could have been a Landspout noticing the looming clouds. But it looks more like a dust devil.

  • just walk in that and look like a superhero with a tornado around you

  • either dust devil or gustnado always stay away from them not as hazardus as tornadoes but keep far away unless u know wat ur doin' there r up to 9 tornadoes in ireland per year!!!

  • Its a baby

  • that happened to me but with a whole bunch of leaves and i was in the middle of it. my mom came out and saw a whole bunch of leaves circiling me like a tornado and she was like WHOA

  • i saw one of these the other day on the way home from nana,s

  • I saw one of these in a parking lot where someone had dropped a bunch of polystyrene beads.

  • its obviously voldemort trying to transport himself to somewhere else.

  • i did jump in the one next to my house! o_o

  • image the person jumped in and got riped to pieces

it be awesome but sad but really awesome

  • wat would happen if u jumoped in it?

  • lol I have seen one of these :D

  • Looks like a small Wind Elemental. I want to pet one of those.

  • O_O

  • Weak on land waterspout? It does look pretty cloudy .

  • I didnt realize how big it was until I looked at the video again. Unless those people are a long way away... Id still jump in it. lol

  • awwww...cutest thing caught on tape

  • I would definitely jump in!

  • Actually, waterspouts, tornadoes, dust devils, are all the same thing, "Whirl-Winds" OBVIOUSLY!

  • @theclashrock09 oh but they're not. Tornadoes are associated with supercell thunderstorms, while waterspouts come from cumulus clouds and dust devils can form under any conditions

  • @tornadomad Yes, but Dust Devils will only form in Cross Winds, the exact same kind of wind that causes a tornado, the only difference is that the wind is in the sky and the wind is warm on one side and cold on the other, thus forming a Storm Cloud, the perfect conditions for a tornado. So I am actually right, as long as you look at the right perspective.

  • When I was walking out of the mall once, I saw some leaves moving across the floor in a circle like a mini tornado.

  • it had a good structure at the beggining but at the end it began to loose its grip

  • This happens when Chuck Norris sighs.

  • wow in italy gread this is very really gread

  • i don't think that is a mini tornado, its a dust devil

  • dust devil

  • its a waterspout gone onshore!

  • so cute :)

  • thats cool what is that?

  • i feel like standing in the middle of it while making a epic pose to make it look like i have powers lol

  • @shorty00104

    loool :D

  • If it hit the side of a truck it'd stop.

  • i feel like standing in the middle of the tornado

  • DUST DEVIL!!!!! Those are sooooo cool.

  • When i was playing baseball last year dust started swirling and we had to run into the dugouts....LOL

  • i remeber this happening years ago when i was in school..it was cool....and in england aswell lol

  • RUN WARN PEOPLE itll get bigger and badder

    :C

  • I would have ran into it and see what happens.

  • WELL THATS A SMART IDEA

  • looks like a waterspout moving on to the shore, great capture!!!

  • thats not mini

  • beautiful!!!

  • haha kinda looks like a ghost is moving xP

  • MAN, LOOKS SO CREEPY =O

    But that might just be me coz I an UBER FEAR For tornados D;

  • Today I was in playing my baseball game and there was mini tornado , but it not down just one tree. Luckily, nobody got hurt ,

  • my friend gets mini tornados in texas and him and his friends jump in side of it and they start to float for a quick second

  • i would have jumped into it

  • yer once i was playing soccer and i got in one and all i could see was dirt spinning

  • me too :D

  • I'd probably have wanted to run over and jump into this dust devil, but being pelted by windblown sand would've been pretty unpleasant, especially getting hit in the face by it.

  • there nick name is Dust devil but they are really Thermal bubbles that usually start suction below them or low presure and produces a vortex that fallows the bubble all the way till the air getts to cool or hits cloud base!

  • True, but I thought it hard to be drier for dust devils to happen, like a desert AWAY from open water. I saw a dust devil near an excavation site on a dry Summer day. lots of dust & red clay.

  • maybe a gustnado?

=> there are dark clouds on the sky!

  • Run through it- lots of fun since its sorta rare

  • that would hurt like hell to stand in mainly because it's beach sand

  • it is a dust devil

it cant pick you up up and away

  • lol it tried to form a funnel

  • hahah i saw one of these behind my school once...

i even stood in it... its not really that strong, but its windier than youd expect

  • Mannn imagine you were right there while you were high too haha damn. That would be something.

  • nope i dont think that would even lift you off the ground

  • ça doit être une F0.4 ou F0.5 pas plus

  • i think there was a very small funnel.

  • a sandnado! lol

  • What happens if you get in it?

  • If you get in this littel tornado, it'll happen nothing important....

  • big enough to make u fly away

  • F 1/2

  • no F0.2

  • Afê, isso não é um Tornado é um Dust Devil!

  • i was on that beach my dad was filming and half our later it was realy big

  • I saw one of those in Lanzarote. I ran into it. the wind that comes from them is actually rather strong, i was struggling to get out, but yet i only weigh 6 stone lol

  • ive seen them pick up tents.

  • clearly a dust devil, and i'm sure some retard will comment that it's a waterspout went onshore

  • dust devils only happen with sun, and with all those dark clouds it's a waterspout. it's impossible for a dust devil to form in these conditions

  • mabye gustnado?

  • Comment removed

  • I think some will, because that what it looks like. Those were no condition for dust devils.

It comes straight from the water in the start, that's pretty hard to miss. Also, often the funnel is invisible near the ground, and it was probably already weakened from going ashore.

Pity the cameraperson didn't tilt the camera upwards; I would expect a funnel somewhere up there.

  • @kuyaMike24 its a waterspout went onshore XD

  • @kuyaMike24 it's a water spout that went onshore

  • Id probly jump in it :)

  • better don't. it may hurt ur eye becos of sand.

  • close your eyes lol

  • there at a beach lol put on gogles

  • @toOpS02 I would.

  • @toOpS02

    me 2

  • maybe it was a landspout cause it's pretty cloudy, but what do I know!

  • Cool Dust devil

  • oh shit!!!!! were all gonna die!!!! lol

  • That's great!

    Good Dust Devil!

  • lol what a cute litle tornado. was that an

    F-2 ?

  • no, dust devil

  • oh i`m not familiar with tornado`s. but is a dust devil also dangerous? can it pick up things as well?

  • no and only small thing probadly not ever a lego

  • Sometime strong ones can be. I've read one at least one case were a person was killed by one. Not nearly as bad as tornadoes. Most are harmless.

  • F-1 I think.

  • no even that!

  • i like running into the vortex

  • i see them alot they rock

  • i saW ONE OF THOSE IN MY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND

  • that actually happened in a field behind my house today. It was the strangest thing. Now half of my neighbours garden is in my garden! =D

  • I've seen one just 2 days ago on the beach at a local lake.

It came straight towards my girl and she just freakt.. I could'nt stopl aughing XD.

I live in The Netherlands so you don't see these things here much.

I'm like almost 19 and only saw three of them in my whole live.

  • i live in netherlands too and they say tornadoes don't exist here.....

  • dude i was at my friend chavez house when one of those comes out of know where we was like wtf? how is that possible?

  • I live at Gulf Shores, AL (alabama) and that happens all the time here, P.S im a half mile from the beach.

  • Wow look at that! I seed a dust devil once when I was in the 1st grade I was playing out side at the play ground and everybody was like runing for there lifes! It was the scary day in my life!

  • When i was in kindy(b4 year 1) i went into a tanbark one!!! i wasnt scared but i got stuff in my eyes

  • wie geil

  • thats wicked

  • not bad a F.1

  • Saw the same thing less than 2 weeks ago in cambodia

  • F .001

  • F 0.5

  • lol i would sooo go out right in the middle of that. usually im sared crapless of tornadoes but mini tornadoes, bring em on!!!! lol

  • i had one of those, theyre completely safe to go in to.but i did get hit by some acorns lol!!!

  • i dare you to go into it

  • lol i love dust devils

  • I saw one of these, but it was in USA, it had pulled a umbrella out of a guy's patio table.

  • Is that close at Venice ????

  • that looks cool!rotfl

  • thats cool

  • wow awesome!

  • its cute but a few 1ft shots wouldnt hurt!

  • that is so cool!

  • hey thats a small one cause one time at school we were playing football all of a suden where i threw it one of those dust devils sprouted and took the ball and dropped it so i went inside of it and started to dance but a leaf went flying down my throat

  • wo was it scary

  • i would of jumped in it but you dont know how powerfull it is

  • thats sweat but if i saw that i would freak out

  • that would be sweet to jump in it, maybe u would fly a little bit! ha

  • go in it

  • I would have run closer to it.

(Frame view with base of dust devil just above bottom of frame.)

Could this have been very weak waterspout?

    Look at low clouds above.

  • I would have jumped into it!!!that would make more sand go into it and it would be fun

  • cool!!!!!!!!

  • dude u shouldve went into it

  • ("hey dipshit" how bout we not be so harsh when critisizing a video. its a dust devil not a sandstorm. psh. dipshit.

  • OMG THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!

  • LOL

  • a deust devil is a OT stronger...its a mear sand storm

  • you see i figure the word spout is related directly to liquids --- when have you heard the word spout have anything to do with solids?? ---- its a dust devil in my opinion................

  • This is not a dust devil nor waterspout, the waterspout would still be able to carry stuff even if it is weak, its either landspout or very strong whirlwind picking up loose sand.

  • just nature doing it thing....

  • thats not a dust devil its just a wind blowing around it self and moveing like 5mph or 3 maybe idont know but its slow if it was a dust devil it would be twice that and with lots of dust and like i said its just wind blowing around it self in the same place and moveing around

  • One beautiful sand devil.

  • Change the title to very weak landspout

  • Rechange it to dust devil/sand tornado

  • do dust devils hurt if u go in it?

  • well technicaly if they are huge they can damage your eyes and if they suck up wood and umbrellas they can fall and hurt u

  • thats a dust devil

  • no, b/c dust devils can't have clods up above.

  • well technicaly they can becoz they can grow twice their size and can damage your eyes and debris may hurt e.g umbrellas wood.

  • its a very weak landspout i think

  • I saw one of those near the beach.I wanted to jump in the middle so bad but my friends held me back.

  • Cool. Saw one of these today. Nowhere near the beach, though. By the oil refinery, in fact. :)

  • i saw a min tornado on a beach in tenerife last year quite funny. lifting beach brollies up and stuff lol

  • that is sooo cool but i would have been sooo scared.

  • dust devils are rare and this one had a tornadic swirl

dust devils last for only a few secs ive seen one in lanzarote.they can knock down flimsy buildings and damadgwe or injure people

  • Also, the dust devils need a sunny day to form. One can clearly see clouds above. this may be a weak waterspout that moved over land.

  • i think its a landspout a very weak one becoz it could have a funnel only like a bulge

  • quote rideon 77..besides don't you see the tornadic circulation in the vortex?

  • It's absolutely not a dustdevil...Dust devils needs a lot of sun and heat..This is a little Waterspout at the landfall.

  • I thought it was probably a landspout
