wrestling is what it is...how old were you when you started watching wrestling? im going to assume between 5 and 10...and thats why wrestling is where its at...because its for kids...ROH doesnt make its product for kids (neither does any other indie fed) they aim for the young adult audience..and thats why theyll never be mainstream. For a wrestling promotion to be as successful as WWE they are going to have to get that little kids market because believe or not..little kids are the biggest fans
I haven't watched Wrestling in like 10-12 years. But recently checked it out on tv. I used to love it, but grew out of it. I agree with you though, I noticed like 70% of the show at least was talking, or drama. Fake or not, the guys put on some incredible physical display and that would be much more exciting for the fans IMO.
In a perfect world the fans would ban together and our voices would be heard and pro wrestling would be better. But this is the real world and people go by hearsay and blogs on the internet about wrestling. The bottom line is those companies don't give a fuck about that fans anymore and it's all about MAKING MONEY! WWE and TNA are the only companies on TV now and they the way they like it.
An letter to the wrestling promotions to wrestle more and talk less would work if Vince(McMahon) or Jeff (Jarrett) would even read the letters but hey don't care about the fans anymore they just care about the value of the almighty dollar when the fans made WWE and TNA what they are even the WWE talent ain't happy with the current state of WWE

if the wwe showed matches from the attitude era in thier 'from the vault' segment which i think is them trying to kill some time in the 2 hour show (which i hate) but if they showed an old math then maybe some fans would compare and realise how bad it has gotten, but instead they show matches from 05 at the earliest, because they know people would realise they've watered it down

More then anything, the wrestling business needs to get rid of older guys as the head of creative for these companies. Vince McMahon has gotten old and set in his ways and it hurts the overall product. Simarlar with Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo over at TNA.

I think ever since this whole UFC thing has been started,I think a lot of people are forgetting about WWE vs.ROH vs.TNA or WWE vs. TNA ECT..and I personally think that we are coming together as wrestling fans vs.UFC fans...that's what I have been hearing.

The promblem I have with the WWE fan are there way of judging what wrestling is. Some of them like John Cena and Batista yet they don't get the fact that they cannot wrestle. i think tna's x-division is the best tna has and they dont show much of it. i think theyre storylines suck and arent entertaining at all. i think its really retarded that theyre using gimmicks that were used already (sharkboy-stone cold; jay lethal-macho man; sonny siake-the rock). wwe is losing me on entertainment, but i would rather watch raw than watch tna for better storylines tho. both companies arent using their young talent, and i think thats not helping each company grow
TNA should take a look at the Fox Sports Net era and see why fans were most pleased at that time. it wasn't until TNA arrived on spiketv that these horrible gimmicks and storylines started to appear. TNA should stick to their old motto: "TNA, we are wrestling!" put the A back in TNA and let's see some more action packed matches and less banter.

The fans are chanting "fire Ruso". So they're showing disspleasure. Not that I believe Ruso should actualy be fired, but TNA needs to listen. It's indication that certain story segments/concepts need to be done away with and a new direction need be taken.

I feel as if TNA has better wrestling, product, and maybe even storylines. However, WWE has the names, yeah, Nash, Angle, Booker, Cage, and Sting. Although WWE has Cena (who I feel has the potential to be a good wrestler, but isnt at the moment) Batista (I hate) HHH, HBK, Jericho, RKO, all of the younger talent is just as good as TNA but its hard to choose.

I think you are right on the money mate. In this world, people have the power when they come together and embrace or reject something. So if a good proportion of us all take some action, we can influence the changes that we want :)
I think the answer to the question is and has always been a fairly simple one. If you want wrestling to get better you are going to have to support the competition to WWE which is TNA. Even if you are not 100% behind TNA's product and direction or are a WWE fan who is dissatisfied with WWE's product, support and help build TNA. Only through competition can the situation ever get any better. You want good programs that pull out the stops, you need competition. It is as simple as that.

I think I take enough action giving my money to ROH. I'm more than happy with what I get out of the wrestling business. I watch NOAH for my pure wrestling fix, ROH for my pure wrestling and simple, but effective storylines, WWE for, well, WWE, and TNA for a promotion that makes me want to poke my eyeballs out with a fireplace poker, chop them up and eat them raw. It's a good formula and it works.
Sting Scott Steiner Booker T and Kevin Nash are older then all of WWE's main eventers. WWE has John Cena, CM PUNK, MVP, Kennedy, Randy Orton, Rey Jeff Hardy who are all very young and all have been in a title match.

I agree that everyone should work together to get the product they want to see, but I'm assuming that TNA and WWE aren't going to coexist for much longer. I am not 100%, but if you watched iMPACT! recently, they are bringing the great Vince McMahon into their storyline. I think the companies are going to start going head to head and the fans are going to keep going at it until someone actually wins.

The X division went from a no limits, nonstop action, no weight limit e.g. (Petey Williams, Samoa Joe) division to just another cruiserweight division.

In a perfect world the fans would ban together and our voices would be heard and pro wrestling would be better. But this is the real world and people go by hearsay and blogs on the internet about wrestling. The bottom line is those companies don't give a fuck about that fans anymore and it's all about MAKING MONEY! WWE and TNA are the only companies on TV now and they the way they like it.

if the wwe showed matches from the attitude era in thier 'from the vault' segment which i think is them trying to kill some time in the 2 hour show (which i hate) but if they showed an old math then maybe some fans would compare and realise how bad it has gotten, but instead they show matches from 05 at the earliest, because they know people would realise they've watered it down

TNA should take a look at the Fox Sports Net era and see why fans were most pleased at that time. it wasn't until TNA arrived on spiketv that these horrible gimmicks and storylines started to appear. I feel as if TNA has better wrestling, product, and maybe even storylines. However, WWE has the names, yeah, Nash, Angle, Booker, Cage, and Sting. Although WWE has Cena (who I feel has the potential to be a good wrestler, but isnt at the moment) Batista (I hate) HHH, HBK, Jericho, RKO, all of the younger talent is just as good as TNA but its hard to choose.

I think the answer to the question is and has always been a fairly simple one. If you want wrestling to get better you are going to have to support the competition to WWE which is TNA. Even if you are not 100% behind TNA's product and direction or are a WWE fan who is dissatisfied with WWE's product, support and help build TNA. Only through competition can the situation ever get any better. You want good programs that pull out the stops, you need competition. It is as simple as that.

I think I take enough action giving my money to ROH. I'm more than happy with what I get out of the wrestling business. I watch NOAH for my pure wrestling fix, ROH for my pure wrestling and simple, but effective storylines, WWE for, well, WWE, and TNA for a promotion that makes me want to poke my eyeballs out with a fireplace poker, chop them up and eat them raw. It's a good formula and it works.

I agree that everyone should work together to get the product they want to see, but I'm assuming that TNA and WWE aren't going to coexist for much longer. I am not 100%, but if you watched iMPACT! recently, they are bringing the great Vince McMahon into their storyline. I think the companies are going to start going head to head and the fans are going to keep going at it until someone actually wins.

what i think of the industry and those of us that have shunned the wwe and gone for the tna product in recent times... can you sole wwe fans say that we are just full of it and dont know anything, when such a large group of us have all done the same... not just 5 people... that's why tna is still around. they are a growing company for part because of those of us who switched. i know i switched because of the x division, and i want to see it back in full swing.

I think its true with what you say and its great idea but problem with it is your to Pro TNA its apperant and talk smack about WWE. Now not sticking up for WWE because your right they need to make alot of changes I totally agree but if you think its not as bad if not maybe even worse on TNA your crazy. You said it yourself reason why they only score that 1.4 on ratings you mentioned. Now do i thnik TNA has better talent I agree but again just like you said if it no used right what diffrence make

B&D touched on wearing Wrestling gear in public. Its something frowned upon, laughed at.The general public is so fixated on wrestling being fake these days, in 2008 an up and coming company like TNA should do their up most to change that. Not back it up with Prince Justice garbage.
Hell, 90% of TNA's backstage segments. I mute the volume if a family member walks in. Its embarrassing. And thats a terrible thing to admit, Its the kind of thing that can put your off the product all together.

Its a shame really, The Womans Division has become TNA's signature division really when it was the X Division that got me into TNA, These Cross The Line commercials with the Knockouts are great. There really should be around the X Division tho, Whats to be said about the womans division being your feature attraction?

about my other comment when i said can i meant cant when i went on with the storylines anyways they need to focus a bit less on the veterans like nash and booker not saying that its bad that their focusing on them because angle and booker are very good wrestlers(angles the shit) but they should be focusing more on their younger guys if tnas the new generation of wrestling they should be focusing on the new gernation wrestlers anyways all and all tan has less flaws than wwe im a wrestling fan

for tna they need to have ALTO more clean finishes to matches im sick and im shure everyone else is of run in endings where their is ALWAYS interferrence they need to have almost no more gimmik matches because god this year for tna has been out of control with gimmiks and gimmik matches they can always be fusing sotrylines together wich confuses casual fans(im definately not a casual fan but if you want those bonuses in ratings with the casual fans give you need to make it easy for them to folow

and ALOT less on segments they need to stop kissing ass wtih politics backstage(although politics are everywhere wwes is out of control especially with hunters politics) they need to establish future stars that will carry the company once taker shawn hunter jeff and hardy are gone they need to put proper safe yet amazing to watch wrestlers in the main event picture instead of 5 move guys like bill said in the video they need to COMPLETELY change their product wich wont happen overnight

well first off wwe needs to get read of their weak talent they need to completely change their wrestling style(wich definately isnt easy and is a slow process to do the relaxed feel their talent has felt for the past 5 years) they need to put on way better sotrylines although the one incharge of shawn and jericho is very good i really like it they need to get rid of some of these very retarded gimmiks their talent would still be just as good without it they need to focus alot more on wrestling

Well I've watch you for about a year now and have not posted one thing but this is an extremely important topic. you guys are the voice so you've got to continue doing what you do for some of us that don't have as big of a voice. For starters both promotions need to drop their weak talent I won't say who I want to see gone but you get the point. Those guys who are a drain on the industry.
