Hi there. I notice that you mentioned you are a professional illustrator. I wonder if you put your work in the press (books, illustration etc) which require CMYK. Gimp unfortunately does not support CMYK and won't in the foreseeable future. How to you get past this problem?

I cannot download the installation. The download process ends halfway that it did not download completely and results in a "bad zip header". Do you have a mirror site to download the zip file? A torrent would be fine.

I want to buy the new Wacom intous 4 and have Gimp 2.6

Does Gimp is good enough for such a good graphik tablet or do

i have to buy an expensive programm like adobe photoshop?

money ;-)

@Macputer I use the Intuos 4 size "s". for me it is enough. i use also a Bamboo fun wide (older) in size A5. I think there is no need to buy a very expensive graphic tablet if your budget is small.If you want to paint you can do it with both tablets very very accurate and detailed.GImp is very good to paint anytype of subject when is working with GPS is even better.with lot of brushes .Check the GPS site and see the gallery . take care

@Macputer Hi, i have used Gimp since 2007 and ,at the beggining i had problems with Wacom. but nowadays i have Wacom bamboo wide, and Intuos 4 and works fine. If you can aford that,which is expensive gama, go for it

A veces es solo cuestion de dedicarle el mismo tiempo a gimp que a otros softwares. y actualmente tenemos cada vez mas , la sensacion de que precisamente lo importante no sera la herrmienta sino el cerebro que hay detras.
