Mr. T and Lundgren weren't actually asked to "reprise their roles", Stallone simply asked them if he could use footage from their previous appearances as flashbacks in the new movie, to which they agreed. From what I've read, Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed), only wanted to do live acting in it, Stallone said that wasn't possible, and Weathers refused to let Sly use old footage of him (they use an Apollo lookalike).

I don't really think that "Rocky" is a real name. I always new that it is an abridgment of some other name. But I didn't know its Robert. And if Rocky jr.'s real name is Robert, Rocky sr.'s real name must also be Robert, because otherwise Rocky jr. wouldn't have the "jr." to his name, right?

@macrossdyrl Robert is well educated and is embarrassed about his fathers relaxed Punchy nature. But he lives through what his father was and is and has never really astablished himself as an individual. His boss and his friends are superficial because of his father.....at least thats how he views it. When Rocky gets the match with Mason, Again his father shines and Robert is frustrated and mad. Dad takes the lime light again. I understand, but Rockys not dead either.
