I was reading some of the old comments and there is one person who definitely knew nothing about science. I think words to learn the meaning of would be "theory" and "hypothesis" to start. There have been many athiests who have dedicated their LIVES to proving that God doesn't exist, only to find out He does and they convert and submit to God. @baaaneson theres so much evidence that i cant decide where to begin. heres a straightforward answer: think of your brain, it is far more advanced than the most intelligent computer. how could it have evolved by chance? the bible is infallible, it gives plenty of evidence that god exists, it is a perfect work guided by the hand of god. as for evolution theories, they are created by fallible mankind. they have been proven wrong time and time again. and they werent there to witness evolution.

If you knew anything about evolution, you would know that this occurs through a mechanism known as natural selection, where the organisms best suited for an environment (more intellegent organisms being an example) are the ones that survive and are able to pass on their genes. @baaaneson it actually does have to do with god, because people were more intelligent and logical back then, they understood how god existed. they actually witnessed jesus christ. and heres evidence for their intelligence: people back then were creating new instruments and building cities without a problem. the bible says that the first man and woman had children who went out and built cities and musical instruments. they can carry out marvels of technology that we cant even copy today.

People generally followed the religion supported by the Roman Empire then... so many believed what they were told to believe, much like today still i believe. Also NO WITNESS ACOUNTS have been recorded, only people who knew people who supposedly witness those events. the story is easily subjectable to exaggeration, bias and other things would would alter the story significantly...

@baaaneson well i know im not ignorant either, because their have been many false claims in evolution, so many frauds. and there is evidence for creation, you just dont understand. heres one thing that proves evolution wrong: evolution involves slow development of an organism, so therefore all the bodily organs were not all made at the same time, but that cant happen, the heart cannot completely function on its own, the liver cant completely function on its own, and same with many other organs.

@baaaneson also, even if the world was millions of years old it would not prove gods inexistence, god could have created the world in millions of years. but the bible does give evidence of a young earth. god created the whole world in six days, so say he made a tree that was about three days old - he would have made it fully mature and it would appear as if it had been there for a long time. if carbon dating was applied, it could show millions of years, when it could really be just several 1000s

@LProck4everGD1 Well evolution proposes that organs evolved form much simpler structures completing simpler tasks. Its does not claim that organs randomly pop out of nowhere. Also the does does not give evidence of a young Earth... it jus says it is... haha big difference. So what was God thinking when he created dinosaur fossils that are billions of years old? And you dont even know how carbon dating works. Carbon dating can only be applied after the death of an organism..you have no arguement

@LProck4everGD1 CONTINUED The New Testiment does not contain eyes witnesses and were not writen at the time Jesus was aparently alive. The Gospels were all SELECTED by the church, to avoid contradictions, which there were. The Old Testiment is rather filled with murder, rape and supression fo womens rights, all commited or endorsed by God, contradicting his own commandments which grant salvation. So in my opinion, even if he did exist, i wouldn't be worshipping a God like that.

He wrote what is considered the greatest legal volume ever written called, "A Treatise on the Law of Evidence". Dr. Greenleaf took it upon himself to expose the "myth" of Jesus' ressurection as a hoax. And after thoroughly examining the evidence, he came to the exact opposite conclusion. He now is a believer.

Only to come to the conclusion that there is a God. You will never find an athiest who took that journey and came out the same way they came in.
