As for the acting... it probably would've been better if you'd had an extra for Elphaba so that you could actually interact with her.

I thought this was very well sung and performed.

Shes SUPPOSED to sing through her nose. It wouldnt be right if someone singing this song would sing in say, an alto-ish chest voice. Its just how the song and character are supposed to be done.
