  • wrong type of aircraft. The engine was at the back which made it easy to land on water

  • @purefatdude2 lmao no the engines were on the wings

  • @12alltel12 nope is on the back of the plane. WATCH ACI!

  • @12alltel12 take that back. It is on the wings. What a miracle.

  • @purefatdude2 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

  • @KGKobra i hope a good signal crashing into a river sucks i think

  • it was acuratebut the thing is the engines failed. also i know y u ended it at the part and said the rest is all history. You7 done it because it would say

    Crash

Also all passengers made it off board in time its not history

  • how do u make it so it doesnt just say splash?

  • What are you pc requisits??

  • @alxxt0 Its on his channel

  • Comment removed

  • there was an engine fir e in the real thing but a veert good video

  • @FSXmasterpiece ... there was no engin fire. the engins just failed.

  • Try to see if you can land at teteboro like the pilots originaly wanted in real life. With the sim it might be possible.

  • if u turn on transcribe audio at 3:43 it says "the nazis on the screen exactly as they occurred that day". lol. Youtube needs to try to make things a little more accurate lawl/

  • I hated this, are we stupid? The pilot lifted up.... the pilot turned.... the landing gear goes up.....

  • -This is scaled and recreated as realistic as possible

-I cannot say this is how it occurred that day.

    T_T

  • The use of this autopilot function was crucial to effectively fly by a margin of 1or2 knots above minimal stall speed. The actual airspeed above the water was probably about 80-90knots. about 100mph.

+ the pilot managed to pitch the plane to the horizon exactly when stalled on the river surface.

This is nowhere near to a replication of the event.

  • brake in the water causing torque causing the plane to tumble and break here and there.

  • thanks for sharing, this is not the way how they landed in the water however. THeres a autopilot function that causes the plane to keep altitude, although in this scenario without engine power.

The captain activated this autopilot function causing the plane to drop airspeed in a high pitch up meter above the water, where he pitched down hitting the water exactly horizontally.

You just flared over the water with a 3degree pitch. The plane would probably ditch over the water causing one wing to

  • i hate the "SPLASH!" Its ok if you plunge to the ocean like when you stall, but not when you gently land the plane in the water so you float for a short time and play with the atc for ship rescues and being able to eject the life boat so instead of "SPLASH!" you see "sucessfull emergency landing!"

  • A320-200 with B737-400 cockpit (even 2D)? that's not realism

  • How do you get that red thing in the top left corner?

  • @mln987

    shift+z :)

  • I remember this well I just got home from school was bored and my tv show was on in the middle of it it said breaking news and I said again another false alarm but when they said an airplane was involved I was glued to the tv

  • there seems to be a problem with the bridge's shadow. Good vid

  • AWE 1549's tail number was N106US.

  • I put crash tolerance to easy and disable aircraft stress causes damage so i can land in the water withouth crashing (it will crash below 80 kts)

  • nice video!

  • Is this from fs-freeware???

  • u sad speakn 4 evrEting

  • u sad speakn 4 evrEting

  • that was the biggest waste of 4 minutes in my entire life.

  • @flamedude177 i know right

  • very realistic and accurate? yea, right..

  • how do you land in water because when i try the plane just bounces back up into the

air and when the realism setting is on it just says i have crashed.

  • @Opticsniper01 you didnt glide the plane, like sully did. he had air glider experience which enabled him to glide the aircraft gently to the water's surface

  • i remember captain sullenberger that they "just made it over the bridge" not 100ft above it

  • @gta4ishardcore The FARs say you have to be at least 1000 feet above anything on the ground, but this is an emergency. still, though, 100 feet isn't very far, and cessna passed at least 500 feet above it.

  • THAT PLANE IS FINALLY COMING BACK TO CHARLOTTE, IT WILL BE DISPLAYED AT THE CHARLOTTE AVIATION MUSEUM.

  • The airplane had IAE engines, not CFM, not realistic

  • 3:32 splodge! hahaha

  • 3:23 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • hahahahahah! fucking pissed my self!! :D why so serious? YOU FUCKING DILDO!

  • ok first of all when you perform a waterlanding you never and i mean NEVER! land tail first because then your none slams into the water and dives , the tail rises and possibly flips, if you watched the news reports or any interviews from the pilot or even know any thing about commercial aviation you land level, this way your plane doesnt dive into the water, smash against the water and break in two ... research dear boy , research.

  • @Airsoftdevil666 auwch

  • you should have used FSpassengers then you could land in the river without cutting out as you were about to get bounced up into the air

  • oh wow what a fail!!

  • How was this uploaded before the crash

  • @Spastan117 The crash was on 15/01/09

  • @Spastan117 Because Cessna154 trained pigeons to fly into jet engines and made the crash happen. This is just what he predicted would happen... o,o

  • @YellingDingo22 They were geese.

  • @bestshowontheweb That's what the government wants you to think. o.o

  • @YellingDingo22 ah, but I forgot to finish! They were Govt. trained KAMIKAZE Geese!

  • we all waNTED TO SEE WAT U CALL HISTORY U DICK

  • HOLY CRAP IMAGINE BEING IN THE HUDSON IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER + IMAGINE BEING ON A BOAT AND RANDOMLY SEE A PLANE LANDING

  • wow, I wanted to see it hit the water and it just stops. You DICK

  • fuck this

  • Very inaccurate, the real flight was an A380 that landed in the hudson. YOU FAIL NOOB..

  • @hellview96x Lol someone's a dumbass? (You)

Cessna you should comment on how stupid this guy is lawl. Post it in your next video xD

  • @hellview96x your an idiot, it was an A320

  • @hellview96x

It was an A320-214, you idiot.

  • @hellview96x wow just wow!!! ur a dumbass us airways doesnt own a380's

  • @hellview96x WTF Do you even know what an a380 is dumb ass.

  • @hellview96x lol you need to research before you say anything...especially something mean, seriously an a380?

  • @hellview96x FAIL !

  • @hellview96x Do you even know planes? I guess not, The A380 is a DOUBLE decker plane, not a single. Educate yourself

  • @hellview96x You just got the salties, it was an A320, you fuck tard...

  • @hellview96x u dumbass idiot, it was an A320. I want to see an A380 taking off from LaGuardia :D :D

  • what a fucking wanker

  • boring,

  • thank you very much. Normally i hate these kind of fake game vids but you showed what happened

  • Comment removed

  • He only made it slowmotion at the end, because he hit the water to hard

  • why so serious? how much is dis game?

  • why so serious?

  • @sinanyongacoglu its supposedly coming down and this what i ve heard from the meetings is thats its being trucked down. The body the wings engines and the landing gear is all coming down on trucks by june hopefully

  • @iceman5164 its coming to the musem i work at. apparently from what i ve heard its coming down in peices on trucks around the end of may .

  • OMG the shadow on 2:47 is screwed up!

  • this plane is coming to my work in a few months

  • @usmc12342

If I'm correct it's in pieces, not necessarily still all-in-one and is heavily damaged, What is it there for?

  • thats a 737 300/4007500 cockpit^^

  • haha it says "one of your engines isn't started push CTRL E to start engine. so you didn't just turned off an eingine. but pretty good.

  • where did you download that airplane ? please tell me the website !!!!!!

  • was it a A320 or A321???

  • yes a downed a320........... never liked airbus anyway

  • I can't understand how birds are that high up...

  • @soshowcanihelp

It was on take-off, so it's inevetible that there will be birds... he never saw the birds coming until it was too late, given the fact that he was climbing (Nose was up so he couldn't see the Horizon) and that the Cockpit is stationed above the nose of the aircraft...

  • He stops just before he cart-wheels.

  • How do you get us airways on your flight simulator??

  • @sincladutch um, i think he downloaded it.......

  • @eugene1999119 How??

  • @sincladutch type fsx aircraft download at there will be a tutorial on how to download aircraft on fsx, hope this helps

  • LACK OF EMOTION IN VOICE !!

  • cessna where can i buy a joy stick for fsx i got the game but i need the joy stick cause right now i am using my mouse

  • @cycool100 Amazon, Game, Play Startion, best buy, wallmart. Your best bet is Amazon.

  • @cycool100 from a butcuer (ffs)

  • this is what i'm doing my speach on

  • I like how you stopped the video just before touch down in the water.

  • @mboy3515 I disagree, it was different from other plane crashes, everyone on board survived!

  • fck u

  • this was a sad day and all but i didnt get why they had to make a tv show about it, planes crash all the time

  • what comp do you use for fsx

  • Which A320 download is this? And how did you get water effects? is taht default?

  • @FF35Pilot Project Airbus...

  • Which A320 download is this?

  • @FF35Pilot Project Opensky...

  • @FF35Pilot Project Airbus...

  • Ur landing was not smooth, u slowed it down because it was so damn hard lol!

  • they should just put fence like things on the engines!!

  • @airsoftbro123 good idea, but the problem is, when a jet is taking off, they are going at least 170mph, and even if they were to hit a bird with "fences" in front of the engines, one of two things would happen: 1)the fence would break of its hinges and both the fence and the bird would enter the engine causing more damage than just a bird or 2) the bird, if small enough, would get shredded but the velocity of the plane plus the impact with the "fence", sending the peices into the engine anyways.

  • @airsoftbro123 edit: i meant *by* the velocity of the plane + the imapct. but overall great idea!

  • @airsoftbro123 great idea but since the fence will be going through hours of air hitting it pretty hard it might break and will destroy the engine.

  • @yoyoyoyoshua ya. after posting that i thought about it.. and then regretted it haha

  • plain sucide

  • amazing pilot that guy is to land the plane perfectly in real life in the river

  • wow that airplane is freeware

  • @boeingsarethebest link?

  • damn man you should be a pilot someday.

  • did they all die!?

  • @Mrhugh2011 no everyone lived i remember watching this on the news

  • @Mrhugh2011 Everyone lived

  • @Mrhugh2011 No one died.

  • good

  • 2:34 Look at Bottom Right >.<

  • u sound kinda sad :-(

    but very nice vid dude

  • u contadict urself in there

  • hey can u send me where u get it from please send it in a message

  • Great recreation. Nice scenery.

  • Ive landed a mooney bravo m20 on water bedore. It was the carribean sea of the dominican republic and it floated fore 20 secs and then went under the waves

  • the airport to the right side is teterboro

  • he couldn't show the crash because if you hit the water the game has little effect and it freezes and says crash :P

  • @90Blakey i landed in water once then stopped pulling it up i didnt know it wuld restart me in the air -__-

  • @fruitloop33344455555 ...i just said that for people to know that he couldn't show it. not for a tutorial :P

  • @90Blakey Oh. OK.

  • @fruitloop33344455555 yea it does that, its annoying

  • @Navahoagm63 So Did He do it on purpose or did it happen itself???

  • Your voice is sooooooooo uninteresting......

  • i got a jar of dirt

i got a jar of dirt

i got a jar of dirt

  • a mini remote control 1

  • cool plane where did u get it!?

  • stupid

  • you say microsoft flight simulator 2009 but it says X in the descriptionbox

  • press control E to start the engines^^

    Why didnt he do that??

  • i need help ditching mine just goes splash at the veryend

  • yea i agree with bttfdeloran you should be a pilot!

  • u cud hav abit more emotion in ur voice wen u commentate, and even tho u got ur info in Feb of 2009 u failed to mention that the pilots extended their flaps to 2, and that the fly-by-wire systems slightly over-rid the pilots, and instead of landing with a nose up position of 11 degrees, the computer lowered it to 9.5 degrees to prevent a stall.

  • 3:36 - END, no one is gunnah sue you mate you were just havin fun lol

  • typical gay geeky kid lol

  • @Hi8380 Totally agreed , exactly the voice of an geek , and that breathing in the mic is awfull . This kid needs to go skydiving in real life instead of sitting behind his lame computer

  • @Jrentje Like how your sitting on your lame computer posting on vids you dont even like? maybe you need to go skydiving...cuz that has everything to do with real life...

  • WHATS WITH THE LAGGG!!!!! lol

  • i agree. you need more emotion in your voice ffs lol

  • you should be a pilot! =D

  • This video suck.

  • You just turned off the engines

  • @johannnmishaelvelasc well how else is he going to make it more realistic?

  • @johannnmishaelvelasc well...yh...theres no birds on fs9 lol

  • thats a 737 cockpit

  • nice vid but your voice needs at least some sign of being a real person with emotions! you sounded like a robot with no emotion at all.

  • Nice vid! U know u can turn off a certain engine by pressing E+[engine number] and then Ctrl+E or Ctrl+Shift+F1? To restore control to all engines press E+1+2+3+4 and resume operation.

  • nice recreation

  • You sound really bored.

  • Your such a looser

  • @baller1995tyler Shut up craphole. You're pathetic.

  • serioulsy, you need to make you're commentary better, its the worst i've ever heard

  • Nice Video

  • where did you get this plane?

  • The only problem I caould see here was you had your nav lights on. Even still, its nice to see someone make one that isn't by some 12 year old with no co-ordination

  • YEESH PEOPLE!!! It's an Airbus A320, not a Boeing 757 or whatever. He says it at the beginning of the video. LISTEN PROPERLY NEXT TIME!

  • oh come ON. im freaking 10 years old and (duh) im not a freaking pilot
