I was felt like Scott Norton didn't fit in with the NWO. The NWO were full of chicken shit heels and fought in numbers like cowards. Scott Norton always came at somebody straight ahead in your face he didn't need anybody else to help him.

This match might have been part of a swerve that didn't go anywhere. I wonder why they're setting up Norton as the crowd favorite to shut up the loudmouthed Ernest Miller. This was right after the two NWOs merged. In 1998, Norton had been using the powerbomb as his finisher instead of a shoulder breaker to mock Kevin Nash and the Wolfpac. But he still used it when Nash also became a heel.

SCOTT NORTON seems like a pretty stand up guy. He was definitely an extreme wrestler. he would have fit well in ECW. He didnt seem like the type of guy who would have lasted in WWF/E. He just didnt have real good mic skills and was too down-to-earth. He was a great, powerful, high-impact WRESTLER, not entertainer.

Scott Norton was awesome and I wish he would of been used better. It's shame WWE never picked him up. He also seemed like a pretty cool guy, according to Chris Jericho's autobiography. He told Jericho to stand up for himself and shut up Scott Hall when Hall was taunting Jericho.

I respected Norton even more after that. I respect the big guys who don't want to fuck with the little guys, just to prove how tough they are.
