I think that being possible to do is good in the remake of Akira Kurosawa's movie.

Especially, it had good feeling in former movie though the princess was acting a famous action scene of three Fnetoshirou.

I agree that you shouldn't try to "remake" a great original film, but I think that it's ok to do "variations" of the original? A lot of people, especially younger generations, can more easily accept something "newer", and then be amazed when they discover it's actually been made by some genius a long time ago. So keep an open mind when it comes to these things - it's all good.

Actually I'm a bit weary when it comes to remaking Kurosawa-sensei's works. And with all due respect to MatsuJun's acting abilities I'm not sure if he's the best choice. I'll probably watch the movie, but right now I kind of feel uncomfortable with 'The Last Princess'
