We share a lot of the same gear. I am in the process of refinishing my trailsman hawk right now. But I sure use it and love to throw it. Its a great camp tool. I recently picked up the GSI cup too. I don't like it for hot liquids though. Thats why I ordered the Kuska. But a rum and coke sure tastes good in a stainless cup, right! lol Even cool water. Love it. Later, brother. ~Wolf
@FatDaddy4Fun Yeah, love the hawk, bout the right size for most of my needs. The GSI cup is great esp. for ruma and cokes. lol The kuksa Kupilka brand is awesome. It is really durable and fits perfect in the hand. I owe my knowledge of it to Skogniv.
@KURGAN44 Yeah, that Leif gets around. lol. I can't stay off his channel and Waldhandwerks. lol. I did order the Kupilka. Should be here in a few days = ) ~Wolf
@wawhiker Thanks! I would gladly share some of the warm weather with ya. :) We will have too much of it soon enough. The tomahawk is an older one that i dug up out of my gear and refinished. Looks much better than the way it came. Easy refurb too. Great tool and easier to carry than a regular hand axe, but it does have its limitations.
Ramen and spam! sounds good to me :o) Man some of those scenes looks like the Yukon! Other than we just got snow all day today ...hehe! Nice! Nice stove too!
@Ggreenvideos Crazy to think that this is from a state known as the desert isn't it? :) I try to get up there as often as possible. Used to be a lot denser forest before the last big fires we had. Yeah, no snow for a few months up there, although there was some snow left in this same location last May when I went camping. Yeah, the stove was my interpretation of HiramCook's Froup Stove. Worked great as long as I didn't overload it with wood.
@KURGAN44 Yeah! We have desert areas here. We are considered to be a dry territory :o Not very humid here at all :o) I like dry heat. Well we normally don't get past +30C :o) We've already got 19 hours of daylight...
@EDINBURGSTAR Hey Joe! Thnx! I didn't notice the footshot until you mentioned it. LOL Yeah, hate shoes, but makes for a heck of a cleanup as the soil up there has a lot of iron oxide and quartz. Your feet come out looking black. lol
thats savage man, love the hawk, and noodles ! love em. thery my food of choice when im out too! nice country. keep an eye out for some post i send your way, good luck brother.

@jhynesyahoo The hawk is something I dug back up and refinished. Easier to carry than a larger hatchet. Can't go wrong with ramen and Spam. :)
