  • The giant was in the nwo 3 different times.once as big show.he has fought mick foley.nash and hall did in wcw with mick before there ever was mankind.the steiners lso wrestled with mick.what was ur point wondering who in te nwo has fought him

  • Flair is such a cocky asshole, NWO 4 life

  • @IncensePeppermints68 If not for the Four Horsemen, there'd be no KLIQ, and there'd be no nWo.

  • yeah but then again, the horsemen never ran a multi million dollar company outta business

  • Cheaper version which drew more money, your just mad because you werent part of it, all you do is trash other wrestlers like Bret Hart for example, at least they have some money and don't have to continue to embaress themselves by wrestling wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past their prime!

  • my god, how much does Ric Flair love himself??

I swear he would suck his own dick if he could!!

nWo changed the face of wrestling, nobody has or will do that again....personally i didnt even know who the 4 horsemen were until i started watching wcw because of the nWo!!

  • @tidykris The Four Horsemen were the first power stable in pro wrestling and they put other people over not just themselves, hell part of Benoit's "push" while it lasted was his association with Flair. nWo, like the KLIQ(HBK, HHH, Nash, Hall Waltman) all put themselves over, hell Nash and Hall and Waltman were putting themselves over during their run in WCW.

  • 5. Did the Legendary Four Horsemen always kiss up to Bischoff?! 6. This is 100% true, one major difference between the Horsemen and other groups, particularly the nWo, was that the Horsemen were willing to lose matches on television and put other wrestlers over in order to make themselves appear vulnerable to faces like Rhodes and Sting. This made fans more willing to buy tickets to live events and order pay-per-views under the belief that they would see the Horsemen get their comeuppance.

  • 7. Ric Flair is not an actor, he's a real wrestler like every member of the Horsemen. 8. Did the Horsemen need any actors joining their group? Does everyone know why the Four Horsemen are Legendary?! 9. Explain when the nWo's limosine arrived and when Hogan came out why did they ran off like pussies when the Horsemen were attacking them?! 10. How come nWo didn't standy up to DX, when they invaded WCW in 1998? 11. Hall, Nash, and Hogan are rich.....because of Vince McMahon

  • @Okonkwo009 Ah but the Horsemen didn't put Austin or Foley over.

  • @HeavyMetalBeliever however, what about that time when Fortune was attacking EV 2.0?

  • Also was there any member of the nWo that has ever wrestled against Mick Foley?

  • nWo the new era ? They were in their late 30's when it kicked off. nWo my ass, what a load of shit it was

  • fuck nwo bwo is the shit

  • Flair's only upset because when the NWO was in their prime ('96, '97) Flair had to take a backseat and became somewhat of an afterthought midcarder. The NWO in their prime were cooler than Flair and he didn't like that

  • You know you forget until you watch the 4 horsemen dvd that, that thing went on waaaaaaaay to long!!! The 4 horseman pretty much sucked for 90% of it. All the different groups, the thing never working past the original up to Windham. They both had about the same amount of great years and then the same amount of shitty years. Flair has to remember the Paul Roma era too it wasn't all the original. They fucked the horseman up way worse.

  • flair is right the four horsemen > NWO. fuck you bischoff for making a complete fool of flair during WCW. flair made WCW .

  • fuck you flair and ur horsemen!!

  • nWo also drew a thousand times more cash and fans than the 4H ever did. And if you listen to Flair talk about Bret Hart, that's all that matters.

  • Future of wrestling and hogan was closer to 40 at the time lol. Future of wrestling was hbk, austin, rock, triple h ,y2j,angle,ecw all those guys and ecw were way better than the nwo crap

  • @86Stooy LOL ok you go with that

  • & in my opinion Prick Flair is a cowardly nobjock who nowadays goes around doing shoot interviews sucking cock on the side ....

  • Flair is easily the biggest whore in pro wrestling history of course he thinks his old man shit of 4 morons was better then the greatest most financially successful group in history

  • I prefferred the Horsemen but thats probably because I was a little kid when they were big , and I was grown and not interested in Wrestling any longer by the time of teh NWo

  • Flair is dead wrong. The nWo was supposed to be like an "invasion" as if they were taking over the company, hence calling nash and hall "the outsiders" and giving them their own PPV. The Four Horsemen was just another stable from the 80s. They were the most popular/hated of their time, but thats about all they have in common with the nWo.

  • Right On Flair!!!!

  • hahahahahahahahaha

this, coming from a guy that is a blatant rip off of the Nature Boy Buddy Rogers...gimmick, look AND finisher...

the nWo is arguably one of the greatest angles in pro wrestling history, while the 4 horsemen are a footnote...

  • ric flair is so jealous of nwo !!!

  • In some ways I agree with Flair. The NWO started as a great concept but in my opinion it grew out of control. If it had stayed as a 6-10 man group it would have been much more interesting to watch. WCW could have done a lot with the remaining talent that were just collecting checks to stand around looking dumb!

  • I don't even remember any of the other horse man other than flair and arn...

  • I don't think Flair is any good on the mic. I remember he stated he couldn't understand what Warrior would say in interviews. Flair always sounded drunk to me when doing interviews.

  • @liam89th You're a moron.

  • have to disagree on Ric with this one as The Four Hoursemen was a wrestling stable where as the nWo was a seperate orginization trying to take control of WCW, 2 completly different things

  • Tully good talk

and he was great at drawing heat from the crowd. he was one of the biggest heels in all of wrestling during the mid-late 80's. He was such a cocky, sneaky punk that the viewer wanted someone to beat his ass. He knew how to work the crowd as well as anyone

  • nWo was greater than the 4H

  • I love all that Ric Flair has been to wrestling...but he's flat-out wrong here. The Four Horsemen were probably the original and genuine heel stable...but to compare them to the nWo is ridiculous. nWo was a product of a ratings war between the WWF and the WCW. It represented WCW's rival...the WWF. But they portrayed them as villians because the idea was...WCW is good...WWF is bad. But then it got out of control due to nWo pupularity and ironically, it ruined the WCW for good.

  • Obviously the Right To Censor was the greatest faction of all time...

  • @NJPlayer79 ur kidding aint ya, it has to be the oddities!, luna as leader was great lol

  • Seriously. All you people talking about how much money being made as the measure for success? Seriously - MONEY!?!?! What a fucking stupid way to measure a legacy.

  • Ric Flair is a cheap version of Buddy Rogers. He even stole the nickname "Nature Boy"

  • The whole thing that's funny about it is that Flair says there are 4 people that can work and talk. Which is BS. Arn could and Ric could talk, and that's pretty much it. Ole never wrestled and was a decent talker, but Tully Blanchard was never a good talker. the original 3 nWo members could both work and talk.

  • @Shoooooooo81

You are a dumbass, if you think that Tully couldn't talk. Tully had the most heat out of everyone in the Horsemen. More people hated Tully than Flair. Flair was the star but he was so damn funny that it was hard to hate him. You have no wrestling knowledge please dismiss yourself you idiot.

  • @oldgoateetribute If Tully was such a great talker, how come he pretty much dissappeared in the late '80s after him and Arn's run as the Brain Busters? He obviously wasn't good enough for anybody to invest any time in him. You're like Flair talking smack about how Bret Hart didn't draw a dime.

  • @Shoooooooo81 Tully quit wrestling to go into preaching. Beleive me, Flair and Arn could have gotten him hired at WCW in the early 90s.

  • @Shoooooooo81 Tully was one of the best workers ever.

  • @Shoooooooo81

Nash work? really? Hogan work? yeah because those 2 matches a year (mostly crap too) were a real strain. Hall was the only one of the three that was both good on the mic and in the ring.

  • man this is dissapointing to hear from ric flair. first of all ole anderson couldnt work for shit and he was pretty much a useless part of wrestling the entire time he was a part of it. secondly, this makes it seem like he thinks any stable after the 4 horsemen was a ripoff of them which is a dick thing to say or think. this is a frustrated and bitter ric flair apparently.

  • You have to put it in context to when he said it. 1999. He was a couple years into being embarrased by WCW.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo Yes, besides, you can't compare The 4 Horsemen to The nWo. It's a whole different thing.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo Horsemen had some good stables. Flair, Arn, Sting and Lugar was the best. In the 90's, NWO was dragging people around like Mongo. They were done. Even the last horseman roster was what, Flair, Mongo, Benoit and Malenko. A wrestler, a stooge and two midgets.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo But he was a man of average carpentry skills.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo

I will agree with Flair that the 4 Horseman were better especialy when they dumped Ole. The difference was that the NWO had Bischoff so they had mangement on their side. While the Horseman were just agreat group.

If anything Evolution was a rip off of the Horseman.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo - The 4 he is referring to is himself, Windham, Tully, and Arn

  • @ricflairgowooooooo At least Flair said it was his opinion. I for one believe WCW/NWA were very fortunate to have the two most dominate wrestling groups in history, The Four Horsemen and the New World Order.

  • @ricflairgowooooooo Ole couldn't work? Ha! And you're defending the NWO!? You fool

  • stupid comment by dick flair

  • Well lets see. Hogan is rich. Hall is rich. Nash is rich.

Flair.....is doing appearances in high school gyms and near broke.

I'd say the nWo wins. The Horsemen were great but come on now, how many times do you see their shirts in the crowds today? In 2008 watching RAW you still see 9 or 10 nWo shirts in the first 20-30 rows each night when the camera pans by.

  • Hall and Nash got good money when they were WCW, but they are far from rich in 2008.

The NWO is only 10 years old, while Horsemen go back to the 80s. In another 10 years, no one will be wearing NWO shirts.

  • I agree with u. its like music and video games too ppl will have them but always move to the newest thing while the ppl who grew up with it still have it and the new generation likes there era.

  • Flair is far from broke

  • @aalton

Not really, Bro.; Ric Flair Financial was just recently set-up about 3-and-a-half years ago, so, who knows how much money they're making.

  • how many people wear horsemen shirts? how many factions reached the levels that the nWo did? yes, the horsemen were first but they were NOT the best-just the most influential. The Horsemen never went mainstream, the nWo did...Flair has never got over that, period.

  • The Horsemen were around at the same time as the NWO.

  • they were not in their prime anymore at that period of time. ric couldnt stop generational evolution-he helped create them indirectly. the horsemen concept was bound to evolve after a period of time-to call the nWo a cheap imitation is bullshit, because they might have took the Horsemen template, they were a WHOLE OTHER STABLE with an original concept-they were the first invader faction, at least in the states

  • nobody wears Horsemen shirts as we speak

  • @JordanSayz - I would if they produced them...

If you know where I can buy one, point me to it (and I mean a new one..I don't want an ebay one)

  • if you really want to look for a Horsemen shirt, maybe you should try the people who own the trademark.

  • Big hint on the last part. If you do, Flair will have some money for royalties to use to get surgery after getting his ass beat by his wife.

  • but the horsemen arent even around anymore at least most of the nwo guys still wrestle...and you said in 10 years no one will wear a nwo ..well i dont recall people wearing a 4 hoursmen shirt even when they were big

  • @awesomecaws

I did..still have mine too ...although it's too ratty to wear :/

  • @sxdx20000 ToooooooooooooSWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

  • @sxdx20000

There was no marketing machine behind them.

But you got great matches with the Horseman when have Hogan, Hall or Nash put on a great match

  • @sxdx20000

2 years latter and what is hogan doing? Rent a center commercials. Hall does sporadic indie appearances.....yup they must be doing fine financially. Nash just recently showed back up in wwe So he very well may be doing ok.

  • LOL

    Flair is bitter.

NWO was 10000*times bigger then the horse-asses.

  • @Krillep NWO almost immediately took in too many wrestlers. It was excellent when it began, but then went downhill and nowhere when they added so many wrestlers. The Horsemen were always exclusive.

  • 1. Ric FLair is right, even though it's scripted it's 100% true, the Horsemen are the reason for nWo, Evolution, Fortune, and a lot of other heel stables. 2. The Horseman doesn't need some WWE Superstars headlining their group and getting title shots. 3. 10,000 times bigger?! Where was the nWo in 1986?! Is every member of the nWo a legend (not counting WWE superstars)?! 4. when did WCW ever did a biographty DVD or Video of the Four Horsemen?

  • NWO on made money for about 2 years.

  • Yeah, everyone talks about how NWO shot up the ratings, but it was a flash in the pan that ultimately killed WCW.

  • WCW wasn't making a penny before Scott Hall and Kevin Nash First Came down to Ringside. Then, Everything took off. It was only after NWO broke up and left that WCW started Going Down Again. About the same time Flair Came Back.

  • thats not their fault-that was management's fault for giving them that power. of course, anyone who corrupt it solely for themselves, thats not their fault. flash in the pan? its still lives, my friend in the hearts and minds of the fans and the people that were a part of it..4 lyfe
