Disco is such H-A-P-P-Y music!!! I hope it never dies, and that us old timers can help to keep it alive for the younger folks. Salsa music and dance continues to appeal to all the younger generations, but unfortunately it seems less so for disco. Disco needs a really good P.R. person! ;-)

This song just makes you wanna move and if it don't then you're dead inside. I remember when i was 18 going to a club/disco in NY and this song came on and a group of Black gay guys pulled out some tambourines when this song came on and they never missed a single beat while they were beating them and dancing at the same time. I had never seen anyhting like it. I stood back and watched them go into some kind of trance while they just stole the dance floor. What memories this song brings to me.

There used to be a drag queen at Illusions (The Showplace of the South) in Atlanta back in the mid '80's that would do this song and dance across the raillings that you put your drinks on that were no more than 6 inches wide. It's amazing that she never fell off of it, it was great.
