Uh, this isn't Devil May Cry. This is Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn, a Mature rated RPG game with lots of demons. They decided to have a crossover and have Dante appear to try to hunt you down (and he can join you). In exchange, the artist of this game designed Dante's Devil Trigger in DMC3.

Oh I just went over it again and yeah you are right, he did not get tricked into releasing mundus (I must have justified their reason for getting dante to the island when really it was stupider than I thought XD) but regardless dante was still easily tricked by trish and my point that dante is not infallable or evil in this game for being tricked remains.

That's bullshit, dude... I bought the limited edition of Nocturne in Akihabara for 30 bucks. The one with the incense burner and the limited edition soundtrack... And i've even seen the game alone for less than that. Also, you can buy the chronicle edition (which comes with Devil Summoner 2) for about 60$. I think that if you're really in Japan, you should visit Akihabara..

Nah, I can't remember what level I was on, but it wasn't even lvl 55 and he still was easy like hell. Really, if you can get to that point in the Amala labyrhinth, then Dante shouldn't be a problem anymore.
