@kingalow1 I hope you realize that a lot of the 60's and 70's music you listen to was at the time thought to be "plinkity plonker" made by hipster youth. When the Beatles first came out ripping off old blues songs, people who listened to older music though the same you think of these guys now...

@kingalow1 Never said they were equivalent, just putting it as an example. You clearly have never heard very early Beatles, when they used to rip off blues music like there was no tomorrow and make it sound like shit. Clearly the Beatles were not doing anything new that hadn't been done repeatedly in the past 10 years before them. But it's ok because your dad always told you it was CLASSIC rock so it makes it ok to plagiarize and shurn out shitty pop songs.

@kingalow1 I'll ignore the sarcasm and get straight to it. I've actually seen these guys live. Besides having quite a good sound, they are all very good at their instruments, the lead singer is very well affiliated with the fretboard. I will admit, some of their songs I even have trouble sitting through, but when they really get it together they can come up with something stellar. I guess they get carried into the hipster category because they are young guys making music in a small scene.

While hipsters do exist and are in most cases in fact douches, it is almost always the case that people who rush to point their finger at something they don't understand and call it "hipster trash" are much bigger douches than the actual hipsters.

That said. Women are a great band and I hope to get to see them live some day. Thanks to the OP for the video.
