  • Oh alright Ill say what were all thinking WOMEN ARE TERRIBLE AT DRIVING!!

Not intended to be a factual statement.

  • @idontknowshutup65 too bad it is

  • LOL!

  • I sure hope she's going out to get more food.

  • haha yeah fuck woman! .. jk lol

  • "When a WOMAN'S at the wheel, tires mean more than mileage." LOL

  • apparently, roads get more bumpy when a women gets behind the wheel?

  • weebl sent me here

  • @NeophyteOneable Weebl also sent m-no, no he fucking didn't, he liked the video.

  • Yeah - and there goes Danika Patrick at about 200MPH , and besides these were BIAS belted tires - so it's all good.

  • but there's no roads between the bedroom and kitchen

  • There's something wrong... Where's the damn kitchen?

  • If these tires where so good why don't you seen them around anymore?

  • @nocturnechanson technology...same reason you aren't still buying an NES or Atari for their "amazing" graphics anymore.

  • Thanks honey... Now get out! I'm driving!

  • rofl

  • 0:10 - I've got 40,000 miles on my ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • Why does she need tires, I have tile in my kitchen.

  • While your insinuations about the intent of this video do reveal quite a bit, they are referring to the way men tend to value women lives as more important that their own.

  • I guess it could be argued that they were INTENDING to discuss how much safety you're placing on the tire, looking out for her, etc.

But no, it was totally sexist.

  • that's just the average drive around the block for a woman, lol.

  • hah

  • sooooo true...i use Polyglas as often as i can!

  • mr weeble like this

  • So hilarious how sexist commercials were lol.

  • the way the cut the woman driving montage is as if she was escaping some creep trailing her, or she was en route to drop off some secret documents to an FBI informant.

  • Move over bitch, im driving!

  • Weebl favorited this...

  • xD This music must always play when I'm in the car with my mom

  • a women driving!?..............mother of god!!

  • lol she was not in the kitchen

    trollolololo

  • this is just hilarious

  • that was sooo wrong... weeeeble

  • Weeeeeeeeeeeeebl

  • will polygas protect my wife too? :)

  • The ending I just expected him to say "It's OK honey, we're safe now - A man's driving".

  • HAHAHAHA this is gold!

  • I get so confused when I drive too! I can never remember which pedal is the brake and the one that makes me go vroom!

  • The scary music had me lawling.

  • Yeah... women can drive... +1 to this video...

  • Jesus christ this video was terrifying! Seeing a woman drive around like that so freely and without any male supervision?

  • fake and gay, but resembling a true notion.

  • Haha seriously.....it was like i was watching an alfred hitchcock film when she started driving

  • Haha seriously....it was like an Alfred Hitchcock film when she started driving

  • lol awesome

  • if only they made tampons out of polyglas, then maybe they wouldnt be so crazy 12 times a year.

  • My stupid wife had trouble doing complicated things like driving too. I'm glad I have Polyglas and a buzz cut you can rest a beer on. Now she can blow me and overtake at the same time. thanks goodyear.

  • I cant help but think this is trying to imply something..

  • Move over bitch

  • That's some damn fine editing... Wait... FUCK YOU film school, why have you jaded me so?!?!?!?!

  • When your wife has to drive, but why are you getting her drive? You fool!

  • And if that's not fake then tgese tires are pretty damn good since other tires seeing a woman at the wheel would have deflated themselves or ran away ...

  • Pretty well done ...!

  • @ jeremy

Totally agree , i wonder thoughhow they did it pretty well for the time ...

  • Get your woman back into the kitchen as fast as possible with Polyglas tires!

  • fake. im pretty sure a real woman wasnt driving the car when they shot this

  • Replace "woman" with "your loved ones", and it starts to make more sense.

  • Oh god! The road signs! I have to read and drive at the same time. Oh god!

  • I saw this on Reddit...

  • upvotes for username

  • Cue awesome music,

  • Tires so good she climaxes when she drives that dodge DART!

  • oh. my. gawd. lmfao

  • Thank god those tires stood up to her woman-driving. Did you see that detour!? And man, is that name registered.

  • the music makes it sound like she's an international spy. that's what i'll pretend its about.

  • Tires so good, even your wife can't ruin them

  • @CapnJake1995 my husband would upvote you on this. i drive in Newark (NJ) so.. flats happen

  • 29 women watched this video.

  • What are you fags on about? There isn't anything sexist about the commercial. The advertisement is to pray on how precious women are to their man. So the man wants to get the best tires for her, not because she isn't a good driver. Jesus

  • @Lawyer2Junkie I don't think we watched the same commercial.

  • @Lawyer2Junkie It IS a little chauvinist, admittingly. However, I agree with your statement. Back in the 70's (?), purchases like tires were virtually made by men only. What better way to play on that then to tug at their heartstrings. Basically the commercial was saying, "If you don't buy Polyglas Tires, you're allowing your fragile, helpless wife to die." What hard-working man wants THAT on his conscience?

  • @Lawyer2Junkie You can see it both ways: either you can get the message that men cares about their women so they will have good tires for her safety. Or you can see it as a message to get good tires to prevent her to waste your car. The message is in the eye of the beholder. :P

  • Hahahahaha, wow

  • So where is the Michael Bay version ?

  • well women were different back then. not so independent.

more feminine and fragile. now they are like men but sexy and not so brazen

    well most

  • a woman driving=a goddamn nightmare

    apparently

  • @idioteque777 so fuckign true ...

  • lol

  • FAKE! I cant go down the road without seeing a woman with a cellphone in one hand while driving! Where is this womans cellphone?

  • what's wrong with being sexy?

  • LOL

  • LMFAO

  • They speak the truth.

  • is this really what women see when they drive? lots of quick cuts?

  • its not sexist, its a scare tactic

  • @blankdrug Hey, don't you talk about my forum site like that!

  • unf delicious sexism. x3

  • @blankdrug ....What? Reddit isn't like that, now 4chan, there is someplace you wanna stay away from, lot's of "normal" people there, and by normal, I mean downright not human.

  • Sterling Cooper Draper Price.

  • Fantastic.

  • is this shit for real?

  • When a woman's at the wheel, polyglass means more than mileage. It means vehicular manslaughter

  • Was this commercial on Mad Men?

  • At least back then they had the balls to tell it like it is lol

  • The REAL way you know this video clip is old? The Browns are beating the Jets 14-0.

  • oh come on it just means you worry about your wife when shes driving and dont wanna put her on some broke ass wheels

  • I almost had a heart attack watching that woman drive its too stressful letting them take the wheel

  • If you play this backwards, she drops off her husband at the airport and then shows the world that women DON'T have to stay in the passenger seat by driving in reverse all the way home like a pro. Woman Empowerment.

  • @Homerspy Yeah, that's the point exactly. That women can drive in opposite land.

  • OMFG! this is so funny yet so wrong!

  • ITS REGISTERED!!

  • Comment removed

  • well for fucks sake i've just turned into a cat again

  • That was close! What is she doing so far from the kitchen?!?! Take a taxi next time, so much safer!

  • lulz women!

  • @Corvus133 have a second? thanks for that second I really needed it to dodge that car, one second later and that woman driving would have killed me :P hahah jk

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • Of course, the Jets are losing -_-

  • I hate women.

  • @sirosaur They hate you too. Everybody wins.

  • This isn't saying women are bad drivers. It's saying that a man doesn't have to worry about his wife getting into a car accident, because the tires are beast. It could've been the other way around, saying that women don't have to worry about their husbands driving alone, but think about the time period, people.

  • What year is this from?

  • @lin2k4 goodyear

  • @91MikeH91 Idk why this isn't the top rated comment already.

  • @lin2k4 2009.

  • Hey, that is sexist. I want exciting music when I drive too!

  • Well, it's true. Women are shit drivers, same way men are bad at having babies

  • @Mikemaladar women are incapable of driving? I had NO idea.

  • @StewartmsFuoco the more you knoooow

  • We need more commercials like this

  • Ah, good old fashioned sexism.

  • its only sexist because you have been brainwashed!

just ask any driver worth his salt how bad some women drivers are on the road......

  • LOL

  • This is ignorantly offensively sexist and I love it?

  • I think it's implying that if the man dies, it's not as bad as if the woman dies.

  • this is the real life

  • Boo

  • Awright, you bitches got 30 seconds to answer five motherfucking questions

  • lol

  • women are godless killing machines

  • Dude its simple, imo the commercial is saying: when your wife is at the wheel, and the shit goes down, you want her to have the best tires, for her safety.

  • @jasoneric Yeah, I don't see why people have to twist the meaning around. They are trying to tell you they are safe tires.

  • LOL. this is funny in a really twisted way.

  • LOL

  • Its not sexist when its true. Women are inferior and that is simple reality.

  • @gu151

If by "reality" you mean "shit you make up in your head without evidence."

  • dat evilwhitemaleoppressorpatriarchy lookin out for its womyn.

  • Sexist commercial is sexist

  • WTF is "reverse sexism"? It's just sexism.

  • If you ain't rollin on Polyglas when you pick me up from the airport, don't even bother coming, bitch.

  • @gregarious24 aww yeeaaahh

  • I don't know whether to like this or dislike it. Someone help!

  • hahaha

  • I was about to make a comment about how silly and weird old commercials are, but then I remember that new ones are no better.

  • Well one thing no-one will forget is that polyglas and goodyear are linked!

  • People on Reddit saying that commercial nowadays are more reverse sexist (the man is the idiot), which is true, but it's not just with sex. For example, the corn syrup commercial with the black and white woman, of course the white one is the idiot and the black one has to educate her...it's just the safer way to set things up, because the history is too painful, I suppose?

  • @misha231 Yeah, reverse sexism FTL. This ovenpride advert received over a thousand complaints in the UK (v=DrnOqwXWJDA).

I wonder how many complaints an advert with the slogan "The new ford focus, so easy, even a woman can drive it" would get...

  • what is the bitch doing outside her ELEMENT?

  • @Maplesyrup41 You expect her husband to go to the grocery store?

    lol, jk

  • Really top comment every damn time?

  • Umm, I don't see this as sexist. When a woman's at the wheel, her man wants her to be safe. Why would he want otherwise? She wants to be safe. Why would she want otherwise? Having a flat at night is particularly unsafe for a woman, it has never been any different. People really want to imagine the worst in things these days.

  • @P00P0STER0US well the fact that they use a sex in the 1st place is the sexist part. If they weren't trying to imply any sexist remarks they wouldn't have used the line "when a woman's at the wheel". you're arguing FACTS; We were very sexist in the past. "People really want to play devils advocate these days."

  • @chrisfisch33 "...but Polyglas means more than mileage when your wife has to drive alone." Yes people were very sexist in the past, and this commercial is not an example of that. It was made for husbands in charge of putting tires on cars. Husbands concerned about the safety of their wives. Very true that people want to play devil's advocate, I find myself doing that instinctively.

  • Good Old Fashion Sexism.

  • It's sexist yet impossible to take seriously...so I have to laugh :D

  • Well, it is pretty much true...those tires do last a shit long time.

  • @robtom987 Especially if you are running on 30 year old Polyglas tires. No traction, but the rubber is so hard that it hasn't worn a single micron since 1993.

  • Why? Why did we turn into such pussies?!?! We used to be so badass!

  • Being sexist was how it's was done back in the day.

  • Oh dear..

  • I love this so much.

  • Thank you Reddit.

  • why does she listen to such intense music when she's driving?

  • this is pretty sexist. From now on I'm only buying Goodyear tires.
