BTW, it sounds "bad" because there isn't any exhaust piping connected. It's just the down-pipe after the turbo kit, and that's it. Any, and every car will sound like that with a turbo kit and no exhaust.

This is NOT my car, I just liked the kit. I wanted this kit when I owned my xB. The kit was redesigned because of heat issues, and the turbo is not the same size. It's remote mounted and dynos the same 180WHP @7.5 psi. This was their goal when they redesigned. WHY Industries/Turbo Toyotas makes a comparable kit, for the same price. ZPI is no longer owned by Kenny, they were bought out, and he didn't like their business practices and left the company. Kenny is a good guy.

ZPI posted 184whp with this kit but since that dyno they switch to a downstream turbo and have not yet posted new data. WHY industries aka turbotoyotas also hase a nice setup

This style of vehicle is very popular in Japan, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda all have similar vehicles styled in the small box-like style. The Xb is known as the Bb in Japan under the Toyota Emblem

It may sound "bad" because there is no exhaust on the car. None, period. they installed the turbo, and from the original design they had, they left everything else off, since they are also developing an exhaust system as well.
