this past week's IMPACT episode was much better than last week's, and i am excited to see the ratings. TNA has a lot of work to do to really build this company and put on a quality TV show, to even compete and get half of RAW's ratings weekly. There is still too much goofy crap in TNA with this Hogan Era... ugh why The Nasty Boys? Let's not try to re-create the 90s anymore, these skits they do are just awful and WHY end the show with Jeff Jarrett in a match? nobody has EVER cared about JJ
Storm is right. These are dinosaurs who killed WCW. I was pleasantly surprised Beer Money won. But Hall's failure to participate in the match was as surprising as the sun coming up. The teams have the wrong names. Scott Hall should be beer money because most of his WCW time was spent getting a lot of checks to sit at home and drink beer.

Well, I for one am glad that they got rid of that stupid 6 sides ring. It was a gimmick and it looked incredibly cheap. An obvious attempt at being different from WWE, Like Hulk said, it only got TNA so far.
If they want to compete with WWE (and they are), they are going to NEED that classic ring.
The new ring will not loose TNA any fans. It WILL, however, likely allow for new fans who stayed away from TNA because of the ring. I think this will yield more positives than negatives.

A.J.'s "Heel Turn" is gonna be awesome now that he's with Ric Flair, Flair is the only real reason people continued to accept Triple H as a Main Event Heel, he was the driving force behind Batista and Randy Orton as Heels.
Its a step forward for TNA even tough you might not see It yet give It time.
I agree, there was a whole rant on aj's heel turn, but he was great when he was with plum tree, matter a fact, I'd like to see champ vs x-champ red, cause I think thier match's back in the day were better than the triple treat with daniels and joe, most will disagree, but AJ used more better moves back in the day, and if he goes all out, and get's more of a charractor, which he is missing, he'd be up there with the rock and austin. I think the x-division should get a show use'n the six sides.

-Flair aligning with Styles gives him instant heel credibility and a much better mouthpiece than himself. With Flair talking for Styles, it will limit enabling AJ to be a comedy act.
-The best move is to incorporate the young guys into heels and faces with the older guys or else the dinosaur movement will continue. Unless you want to see such technically sound matches that involve a physically restricted Scott Hall.
I agree still make it someone else like daniels he can work as a heel and like I said you can't have a heel as the face of you're company also AJ's face promos were meh heel promos were horrible having flair as a manager could overshadow AJ since they want him to speak for him would be better to make it someone who can speak on their own as well so they don't get overshadowed by Ric I say Daniels is the best choice since he can do all his moves heel or face AJ's moveset is too face orientated

Well, I for one am glad that they got rid of that stupid 6 sides ring. It was a gimmick and it looked incredibly cheap. An obvious attempt at being different from WWE, Like Hulk said, it only got TNA so far.
If they want to compete with WWE (and they are), they are going to NEED that classic ring.
The new ring will not loose TNA any fans. It WILL, however, likely allow for new fans who stayed away from TNA because of the ring. I think this will yield more positives than negatives.

Brian Kendrick is a better wrestler than half the roster and was good on WWE smackdown/Velocity when they allowed his character to be descent on TV. So fcuk you saying he sucks...if it wasn't for the Hogan hype TNA would not have got a higher rating on the 4th.
By the way I agree the washed up stars, there is more and more since he came into TNA. WWE is bad enough they have a lot of stale wrestlers and old but hide them behind promos instead of matches.

Here's why TNA Genesis was great
The 6 Sided Ring WILL only get TNA so far, with a 4 Sided It looks way more main stream and professional, I much bigger company feel.
A.J.'s "Heel Turn" is gonna be awesome now that he's with Ric Flair, Flair is the only real reason people continued to accept Triple H as a Main Event Heel, he was the driving force behind Batista and Randy Orton as Heels.
Its a step forward for TNA even tough you might not see It yet give It time.

I agree, there was a whole rant on aj's heel turn, but he was great when he was with plum tree, matter a fact, I'd like to see champ vs x-champ red, cause I think thier match's back in the day were better than the triple treat with daniels and joe, most will disagree, but AJ used more better moves back in the day, and if he goes all out, and get's more of a charractor, which he is missing, he'd be up there with the rock and austin. I think the x-division should get a show use'n the six sides.

yep. Genesis has got to be the worst TNA PPV. AJ heel wont work. I think the majority of comments on youtube,twitter,facebook etc says it all. We the fans arent happy. lol Hogan... get in line with everyone else, yet we see Val Venis (beating Daniels WTF) and Scott Hall(well Waltman lol) given matches just like that.

1. AJ styles is the face of TNA you can't have a heel being the face of you're company
2. remember last time he was heel he started off as an arrogant heel and soon became a comedy character ridiculous
3. It will limit his ring work he'll be scratching the eyes and shit not doing high flying moves
4. AJ just can't cut a heel promo never could
5. They spent so long getting the young guys over as faces and the vets as heels then they do this

-Flair aligning with Styles gives him instant heel credibility and a much better mouthpiece than himself. With Flair talking for Styles, it will limit enabling AJ to be a comedy act.
-The best move is to incorporate the young guys into heels and faces with the older guys or else the dinosaur movement will continue. Unless you want to see such technically sound matches that involve a physically restricted Scott Hall.
