I don't really get the whole "pushing evolution too far" thing. Since when does evolution mean NOT evolving and adapting? It makes no sense.

evolution really just means change in gene frequencies in a population over time...

although the person that said that deer are evolving into carnivores is an idiot. Chances are they were lacking in calcium or something and that was one way to get it.

This isn't that uncommon. Very few mammals are strict herbivores or carnivores. White tail deer often pick baby birds out of nests, and adult birds out of research nets. It goes the other way too. Coyotes in Southern Illinois eat persimmon, which can make up to 75% of a coyotes winter diet. I think this habit was just less well known when this show aired.

They made a new animal X, but it didn't last long and basicaly repeated the same thing as the old episodes and pretty much sucked.  I LOVED how the older one was so spooky.

Oh my god, this was my favorite show growing up. Me and my sister only have one common interest, and we watched this together all the time. We got so creeped out sometimes, but it was worth it. All the segments made great campfire tales.
