I never knew this game was from Japan (before I had internet) mostly because I had Super Mario Bros Deluxe for the GBC. It was very hard. Even though some things were taking out from the actual Super Mario Bros 2, like Luigi's high jump and sliding thingy was taken away. Also the extra levels like 9-D or something like that were taken away. But the difficulty was still hard. You had to master your jumps. And you are right. you do get pissed off D:

Paying for this game or any old 2d game is kinda silly when you could just download the rom from any number of sites and play it with any number of NES emulators for free coupled with a good pc gamepad or console pad to USB adapter. And you could even use an svideo cable or your monitor's VGA cable to pipe the video to your HD screen up there, lol. There's so much out there that'll never make it to the VC, imports, level hacks, total re-writes (Zelda Parallel Worlds).

@woogiepooh1995 - I'm sorry if I'm a dirty sinner thief, but I just don't see the point in buying a $200 console to play games I could buy the real systems and carts for at a Flea Market for dirt cheap. Does Nintendo make any money from those flea market people or folks selling their used stuff on ebay? Nope, maybe they should go sue them too, they could be the next RIAA. And there's still stuff we never got that will probably never be on the VC, like Seiken Densetsu 3 / Secret of Mana 2.

@woogiepooh1995 - A sick bird? *glances over your profile* 33, eh? I kinda doubt the validity of that, as someone that age would actually know how to spell. And nearly anything you do on the internet = illegal. Uploading a music video (unless its -your- band), downloading pictures you don't own and photo shopping them to pass around, downloading music... making an AMV or even just recording your children with a song in the background is illegal. But rarely does anyone get prosecuted for it.
