Many Italian bands have covered this song. The most famous band having recoded "Nights in white satin" are "I Nomadi" and "I Profeti". In Italy is called "Ho difeso il mio amore".

You're right! I've only said tgat many italian bands of sixties have recorded the cover of "Nights in white satin". In Italy all beautiful songs of Beatles, Stones, Moody Blues, Procol Harum, Bee Gees have been played and recorded in italian!

Original songs are better!

I agree! Look at the video of them at the Isle of Wight festival which is their greatest version of this song. To me, they have lost very, very little during the last 40years. And you know, what? Even if they did loose a little, I would still go to see them and listen to them as they are still 1000 times better than ANY of today's garbage out there today!!!!! P-diddy? Pa-lease...he isn't a musician...he is a joke! Justin is a real musician...music has always been first with him!

I`ll tell you what, I think I like this ending almost as much as the version with the orchestra. Saw them live last year, and this ending was so powerful in person. Watching the video only captures half the emotion.
