if you want to reboot your device do you need to repeat some steps? Please reply because i jailbroke mine with another program and evrytime i want to reboot it when it get's stuck i always need tht program to reboot it. It' s really annoying so i thought tht if there was another program in which you can reboot it without using the jailbreak program then i would definetly restore it and jailbreak it using tht program.

omg im sooo close...someone help!..i get into DFU mode and i try to restore and i get the error 1604 message..when i switch it to a different usb though..it goes all the way to the part where it shows the custom logo and that little bar..i wait and wait..but all of a sudden it shows the itunes logo and the usb and the itunes says error 1611..cmonn!!...itunes is teasing me

calm down...if you do not wish to attempt to jailbreak anymore. Then hold down the sleep wake and home button for 10 seconds then only let go of the sleep wake button until you hear a sound. At that moment itunes should regonize your ipod is in dfu mode and simply click restore to go back to original firmware.

well you can always get your warranty back if you restore to factory default. Another consequence is if you install a lot of apps from cydia then your battery life may decrease.

Any version is fine. But the 3.0 firmware is jailbreakable but the firmware isnt going to come out until some time in june.

when i reach the restore part of the jailbreak. when i click restore it automatically tries to restore apples normal factory settings by connecting with the ipod software updater, it wont let me acess my files so i can select the cutstom firmware. can anybody help please?
