You can also take the cotton bud off of one end of a cotton swab. I have tried it before but if you don't get all of the fuzz off it won't work and it will look horrible....... Unless your a wizard....Then I got nothing.

cute ideas, but nail dotting tools are sooooo cheap on ebay, it's almost not worth digging through the house to find all that stuff. I just ordered a set of 5 dotting tools with a total of 10 different dotting sizes on ebay for $1.26, shipping included.
