Also, toys can't not be in a player profile collection more than once. If you place a toy on the portal of a different players profile or different version of the game (except 3DS) it will prompt you that it's not available to be added to the collection unless you "take ownership" of the toy in the toy menu.

You missed talking about the issues that occur when moving characters between games. There are data saving issues that if you aren't careful you'll lose progress on them because the data is saved to the toy itself but only at certain points in the game. There is no "save data to toy now" option in the menus.

@sgtsnapper You can also lose data from a toy by just switching it off the portal randomly during gameplay so keep that in mind as well.

In fact, at my little brothers age... this might be almost sort of magical for him. I know at his age, it would have been for me.

It's sad people actually disliked this video, the game may not be the "New Spyro" everyone wants but this video is basically showing you what is what as I'm sure most people wasn't exactly sure how this works. I think this game looks actually quite decent from what I just saw and knowing you don't have to actually take the toys out of the box is a win, meaning I can either get my money back for them or keep them in mint condition for years to come. Thanks Bunnyspatial, I think I'll pick this up
