I don't know why Eminiem dissed him. I mean. Eminem is a big fan of 2pac but even 2pac was a fan of Will Smith. Who hasn't seen him singing to the Fresh Prince? Will even married 2pac's best friend, Jada. See, even 2pac thought he was a damn great person. Eminiem disses him because his music is cleaner but realized that Will is from the 80's and hip-hop/rap was WAY different back then. So, really, Will is the only one who kept the game in the way it started. He kept it original.

We know Em was known to attack other artists to get noticed. Eminem took it as a direct attack but it could have been Will's take on he chooses to succeed and be a role model. His lack of profanity actually makes him more universal, like Michael Jackson's music for example. He too never used profanity.

He meant just as little disrespect with that as he did with all the gay jokes. Him and Elton are close friends.
