@kylakae There are many recipes for gumpaste, and if your recipe works for you, that's fine. I actually got this recipe (which as I state in the video is FONDANT + Tylose, not gumpaste plus Tylose), from Kerry Vincent (she uses CMC, the 1 ingred in Tylose). It works well for many uses, including flowers, figures, bows, cutouts, and many other uses, for THOUSANDS of our students every year. Our goal is to make things easy and affordable for our viewers, while, of course, working, and this works!
@kylakae I appreciate your viewership, and your success with your recipe. I stand by the Gumpaste recipe I state. It comes from a world renowned source, has worked for many uses for myself, and has been a successful and simple option for thousands of my students. Can't go wrong with that! :) You'll always see different recipes for everything. If the one you found works for you, I would stick with that. I'm just here to make things simple, affordable, and successful for as many as I can. Cheers!
@YUribe26 It's a good name for the video, huh?! After you do the five petal roll up, you can also make it bigger by adding one more petal at a time. Don't try to roll more than 5 petals together as your core though, it gets troublesome!
Its awesome

gumpaste + tylose does not make gumpaste. It makes modeling paste, which is fine for flowers but gumpaste is better, in my opinion. :)

@SweetWiseInc Sorry, I meant to say that fondant + tylose makes modelling paste, not gumpaste. I didn't mean to offend!
