  • what a sad existence to spend it fighting to limit the rights of other human beings.

Keep your bigoted faith to yourselves.

p.s. Equal Marriage is coming, no matter how much you make intellectual fools of yourselves.

  • There are so many things that need improvement in my country, Argentina... but I'm porud and happy to say that same sex marriage has been legal for a year and a half now :) I still get goosbumps when I remember the day that congress aproved the law

  • So, some random lady parishioner person thinks she can judge the Pope? Does she think she can undo the words of the Bible, 2000 years of tradition, Canon law, the teachings of St. Paul, and the communion of over a billion people solely because she "feels hurt"? She can convert if she doesn't like it.

  • @28804ecorrell So let's pretend that you are born Gay. So now you are disgusting and immoral and are future bound to Hell. Or --- You a Born with gay sexuality, you are a human born in God's image and you are loved by God. You have been given by God, the gay gene and now you want to follow what God has allowed to happen to you, being with a same sex partner. What do you do? So if this happen to you, what would you do?? Be celibate?? You had no choice, you were born with it

  • We know that being gay is both natural & innate, a component of some human beings, bestowed upon them by the Lord when He creates them to be homosexual. The willfully ignorant, who refuse to accept God's will over their own myths and bigotry, are destined for hell if they don't turn away from their Satan-inspired hatred, and allow the Lord's love and will wash over them. God loves His gay children, and wants us to as well. Being gay is perfectly okay. Don't argue with God.

  • The Church can believe what it wants. The General public can have and want a different laws than what the church wants. The Archbishop is divisive and contradictory. He want to outlaw gay marriage and how about divorce?? Catholic church law does not allow for divorce but not one thing is said about banning divorce from the civil law. The state support all citizens and therefore, must support Gay marriage. The state has no choice it should become the law. I am a dedicated Catholic.

  • @MRGV7373 Divorce is something that cannot be undone, but we can prevent same-sex "marriage".

  • @Nonamearisto If the church want to be consistent would also ask for no divorce in the state constitutions, but it will not since everyone will scream. Divorce could be undone it is just that the churches know that the general public will never put up with it or nor should it have to.

  • It's time for us all to universally reject the three middle-eastern origin religions once and for all. Historically, atrocities have been committed, wars fought, and people needlessly killed over something as simple as who's prophet was born and died where. As soon as we leave these religions behind we will once and for all begin evolution again. While these religions oppress our free will and free thought, we will never evolve.

  • This to me is a non-issue. If you don't agree with marriage equality, don't marry someone of the same sex! As a school teacher, I don't ever recall reading/citing the words..."with liberty and justice for ALL" and seeing the word, "except". Separate but equal does not, has not and should not work. We can not "eenie meenie miney moe" through our neighborhoods and point to who is allowed marriage or not. As a christian and American, I am for equality, love, and acceptance for all human life.

  • Of all 613 commandments, mitzvot, in the Bible, we can relax and enjoy the words of Rabbi Hillel: ""What is hateful to thyself do not do to another. That is the whole Law, the rest is Commentary." Shalom.

  • For people not welcome in the church I found this thoughtful text on chabadDOTorg: "A friend told me this true story about a phone conversation that occured over a decade ago between a friend of hers & the rabbi of the local Orthodox Shul: Rabbi: Why haven't I seen you in Shul? Man: I'm gay, I didn't think I'd be welcome. Rabbi: (without skipping a beat) Why haven't I seen you in Shul?" This shows that G-d welcomes everyone.

  • Does anyone remember the Roman Catholic church and Greek Orthodox both had gay marriage and civil unions prior to the 14th century?

  • @Thanatos71185 Stop lying.

  • "I'm not going to denigrate them" (but I don't want them to have any rights either...) I also love that the DVD said that the purpose of marriage is to raise kids. Last time I checked, the church wasn't banning people from getting married who didn't want to have kids. Want to play fair? Require all couples getting married to sign a contract that requires them to have a child within so many years of marriage. Infertile? Too bad. Marriage (by the church) is for raising kids only! Ridiculous!

  • No matter what peoples religious beliefs are we should not look to religious moral codes in order to justify the laws that govern the citizenry of our country. Due to the fact that our government has got into the business of marriage it needs to apply that law equally to all of its people. It is a blatant form of discrimination! If you think otherwise you are just trying to find ways that makes you comfortable with your own homophobia.

  • No matter where you stand on gay marriage it seems very unlikely to say, as one person in this DVD said, that Jesus would support gay marriage. Even from a secular historical perspective, Jesus of Nazareth was a devout Jew. He clearly believed in the law of the Torah. That law is very clear about homosexuality. Even a secular atheist could come to this historical conclusion about Jesus. Every age reconstructs Jesus in their own image. However, he was a first century devout Jew.

  • The woman in green needs to exercise her legs more.

  • Hate catholicism not the catholic.

  • The bible is unclear on many things, including homosexuality. But that really doesn't have anything to do with US law as religion has no place in government whatsoever. This was clarified in the Treaty of Tripoli. Hate Gays if you want, but a belief based on hate will only lead you down the wrong path. You have to ask yourself: "Would Jesus stand for children and teens committing suicide because of what you preach as the word of God?"

Be Christ- like, no just Christians

  • 2:43 Papa Naziger ? Nope.

  • Ya know what I think the problem here is, all these anti-gay assholes are probably very pathetic and unattractive people who couldn't get hitched because all the good looking men happened to be gay or dead

  • the dangers? of what? seeing too people who love each other get married... o shit i forgot that is kind of dangerous. my mistake :|

  • Are we still on this subject... *Yawn* - Jesus said nothing about being gay, but LOTS about helping people, especially the poor and needy. So why isn't the church producing a DVD on that, and getting their members motivated to do something about poverty and stuff? Oh hang on, that would mean people would actually have to get off their backside and do something productive in this world, rather than verbally trying to destroy people's lives with their offensive rhetoric and beliefs!

  • And those three morons at the end are really something to behold. This is why I left religion. So much corruption...and it isn't just the Catholic church, Evangelical's are horrible too along the Mormons. Beliefs can stay...organized religion needs to go, we're in the 21st friggen century people. Wake up.

  • Lmfao...the nerve of some people...the bishop actually wrote to her that she's gonna go to hell...And this is why religion is hilarious!

  • The churc say that homosexuality is not natural and that we are dead branch on tree. But i think that celibacy alwso isn"t natural

  • To the woman who said she would love to see reminders of the "natural law" on television:

You would, but everyone else on earth, including myself, would NOT appreciate your religion being shoved down our throats.

    And doesn't God love everyone?

Maybe it's just my Atheist thinking.

  • idk whether to like or dislike this video.. my eternal salvation may be at risk -___-

  • theyll be burnin crosses soon.

  • You know what I'd like to see tv spots for? That the church is utterly irrelevant to anyone who isn't a member and should get its arcane dogma bullshit the fuck out of my life.

  • @captainpanic08 Amen! Why not have a commercial reminding people "This nation was founded on the principle of separation of church and state. No American law is to be put in place based on a religious view, majority or not. Remember that when you vote."

  • Why are they still tax-exempt?

  • One of these Catholic zombies says that the church is like the yellow brick road in the Wizard of Oz, and if they stay on that road, they'll be safe from danger. But the yellow brick road lead to an big fancy building where a flawed man was perpetrating a fraud, pretending to have great powers and ordering everyone about. Maybe that is her idea of the Pope.

  • The supporters of the DVD are the same white tight asses who think Blacks should bleach their skin to be more white....go back to the 1950's you nimrods!

  • What ever happened with the separation of Church and State? While the DVD may not be backing a specific political candidate, it makes it quite clear which side of the political aisle they are supporting. The Catholic Church needs to clean up it's own house first before it should go around telling others how to live.

This is the same religion which hosted the Spanish Inquisition, which it does no longer, but in some ways it still does.

  • Note to any observant Catholics watching this video: You are the ones enabling the church's activities. Stop attending Catholic churches, stop donating to them, and stop giving them your support and encouragement. The Pope is a pedophile.

  • In response to the last three evil women- I'd like to see billboards reminding people how many children have been raped by Catholic clergymen.

  • christianity is an hateful abomination.

  • Good thing equality always wins the day. As with segregation and women's suffrage, it will just take a little time for gay people to be treated equally and with respect. But look at how things were for gays 30 years ago and how they are today. Big improvement.

  • Catholic church = Top 3 list of enemies of humanity

  • I especially love the part that your Christianity can be "taken away" if you don't go along with the church. But that assumes that the church IS God, has ALL the answers and has the power to JUDGE you. Oh wait, i'm sorry, weren't those God's responsibilities? Don't steal God's job from him, I imagine he doesn't like it.

  • hahaha...John Nienstedt, you are nothing but a joke! Absolutely laughable. I truly feel sorry that your family and all of your relatives (and parishoners) have to put up with your insanity/crazy-talk. Come back to earth, John! Rational minds will be waiting for you when you do.

  • Lucinda and Jan are idiots, just like all the idiots that support the rcc, stop supporting them and they will come to heal

The last three women are just pure evil

  • Just don't blame God (however you experience this) for the sins of people. Despite what supposedly godly people do in God's name, there are countless ways of being genuinely spiritual, experiencing and sharing the love that is God.

  • Ah when will people realize the true evil is in organized religion. Free will is God's greatest gift to us and it is time for Catholic's to stand up against the Pope and those in the church who are wrong. Yes the pope is wrong. The church would be much stronger if the brought people to god instead of pushing them away. Do not justify your hate by saying it is loving the sinner. Love or hate the choice is yours.

  • "this behavior"

  • who decides who gets to decide what my rights are? shouldn't that person be me?....shouldn't i get to decide if i want to be gay, smoke weed, or own a machine gun...as long as i'm not bothering any one with any of it whats it matter?

  • I feel sorry for people, they just don't get it! I am still waiting for one person from any denomination to show me where in their beliefs does it say to "hate someone" and then back that up with a profound reason as to why. One golden rule folks, love everyone! Even the killers, drug addicts, the idiot that cut you off on the freeway, the child molesters, , you get the point.

  • The conflict is not between LGBTQ people and the church, but between the Roman Catholic Church and the US Constitution. The latter prohibits the creation of second class citizens for any reason whatsoever, including majority rule. Americans are not free to vote away women's suffrage, the majority is not free to return African Americans to slavery, and no church nor any group of citizens have the right to deprive LGBTQ people of any privilege the state offers other citizens.

  • @BloodOfTheLamb1 i wish i could thumbs up your comment a thousand times

  • EQUALITY TODAY!

  • An "Archbishop" is NOT a title worthy of any respect! get this through your thick skulls people!

  • Whether or not this lady who has a gay son supports gay marriage, who the hell is she to talk about what is in the mind of some nonexistent entity a.k.a. god? We are not going to get ANYWHERE with religion. Fuck religion. Someone ought to shove a dick in Archbishop John Nienstedt's mouth to shut him up.

  • I hope they realize that decreasing significantly their financial contributions will speak volumes and mandate dialogue that is wanted.

  • The dvd may not be pornographic but it is obscene.

  • @MaryJesusJoseph 1000 thumbs up to your comment!
