I'm just like you, i've never had a piano lesson, and i can't read notes.

HOWEVER, as they say, practice makes perfect, and now i can play fantasie impromptu by Chopin, just by watching the synthesia of it over and over :)

@Broth3rz well tbf all the notes seem right but its more the timing of the right hand at 0:17 to 20, listen to 0:24 to 27 and see the difference... in my opinion 0:17 is wrong and 0:24 is correct and they should both sound the same... you will prob tell me that yann made the midi himself lol but i still dont care, in my opinion something is wrong... im just being fussy, but i love this song.

Well, I was going to learn this version but I need to get my hands on a correct MIDI, with correct notes and syncing. Know of one? Or of a video of one on here?

@Broth3rz I have been searching for a midi of this song for a while too now... to be fair this one will still teach you the song fine and then when you get good you can kinda add your own flair to it. so maybe if its a midi you want this is your best bet. learn the notes and then copy yann.. i actually learnt the song by just playing the video (probably over there > in the suggestions) called "Tutorial: Comptine D'un Autre Été: L'apres Midi - Yann Tiersen"... its ugly but breaks it down nice.

@JDnator: Yeah I was on that the other day, taking a second look it looks great, it even shows the syncing of the notes which is great. Now it's time to learn this , Titanic, and lots of LP and FF7 songs! Thanks!
