The 35cc to 40cc engines should be able to fit.

@ps3kid310 you can get even a 50cc but there are endless possabilities. the expansion chamber exausts are by far the best and also add allot of pep. you can get any 50cc engine of a used pocketbike. most of the time the bolt directly up. a bigger bore doesent always give you more power though. engine upgrades such as different jets, an ngk performance plug, and porting and polishing will take you much further.

hey theres something wrong with my goped. its an old sport. when you start it, it will idle just fine. but when you give it gas, you can feel the strokes are more powerful, but it it stays at idle speed. and after you give it gas, it dies.

Check to see if there is anything obstructing the air filter or carb. If that is not the problem, let us know and we will help you further.

it's probably the exhaust. Theres a little filter in all 2 stroke motors for the exhaust and when the filter gets all dirty with grim and oil then the motor will sound like its chocking when you rev it up. If i where you then id clean that out. And if that didn't work then keep it on half choke so some of the exhaust doesn't escape through the front because 2 strokes need to burn all of the fuel to keep going. Even some of the exhaust.

scooter is an XG-505 i replaced spark plugs and cleaned carburetor, also a blackish green fluid comes out of exhaust after I hit full throttle. Before it used to go about 25-28 now it goes 15-18. When I reach its full speed now (at 18) the engine kind of sputters and you can tell it can reach higher rpms

It is not bad depending on how you use it. What that means is that you cannot abuse the throttle by increasing the throttle and keeping it at a high rpm rate.

This cannot hurt your scooter. However after you have adjusted the carburetor to this setting, you must not let your engine run at a high rpm rate for a long time. This can damage your scooter. You do not need to do this on a HP carb.

No it can not damage the motor because the throttle is capable reaching that far meaning that the carb. will be able to deliver the proper amount of air resulting the engine to perform accordingly.

You can listen to your engine's pitch and take a guess on how fast it goes. You can also get a speedometer.

There was a pretty good difference in torque and Horsepower. Speed maybe went up about 2mph. Not a big deal, but torque and horsepower went up!

It could be your belt or chain that is seizing the tire.(So loosen it just a little bit. Not too Much!) But there could be something else. Check the shaft bearings. You may need to replace them or grease them up. We hope this will help you.
