Perhaps this person couldn't understand the instructions.
I checked his channel - never uploaded a thing but he has been making negative comments on videos - one of those folks who prowls about on YouTube trying to look smart when it seems the opposite is true ...
I am quite capable in understanding the steps, & furthermore may I add that his shit is weak, but of course a noob such as yourself wouldnt know whats a good edit & what isnt, & this guys editing is below shit, like your existence.
Im not a troublemaker, Im just honest. I looked up PS vids, & all of them sucked; so I decided to let these noobs know that even though imbeciles such as yourself praise this crap, the edits are still shit nonetheless. I mean someone needs to kick them off cloud 9
& furthermore, I don't try, I'm just naturally smart, prude. Now I suggest for you to bow your head down in defeat, stop lurking my page, log off Youtube, & work your ass off on your shit photoshop skills; practice makes perfect, and in your case it's going to be a fuckin' long road before your amateur ass becomes pro. Eat shit, thanks.
@jeweater11 wtf is wrong with u? There's nothing wrong with sharing knowledge. I think Riberg is a very nice guy/gal in this case. Practice makes perfect, u are right, then u should practice to make urself more useful to society and learn how to civilize. Get a job and stop hating, i pity u, really.
I open up a picture and when I wanna zoom in or brush or just anything really, it wont work. I can edit the brush size and everything but then when I'm trying to brush the picture the "little white hand" is still there.
Gosh, it's hard to explain.. :P The pointer usually changes to whatever you choose, like a brush or a magnifying glass. But mine doesn't.
Now that is really add. The "littel white hand" is the move tool and it should only be activated when you select it from the tools or press the space bar and scroll.
Are you using a tablet and pen? If so make sure the bottom button on the pen is not set to be the hand tool and make sure you are not pressing the bottom button.
If not tablet is installed then maybe you need to un-install and re-install your software.
I haven't seen this video yet, it's still buffering, but I'm sure it'll be awesome like all your others.
If I may, I have a request. Could you maybe make a tutorial to show how you could color someone's hair green or any other object another color for that matter and how to bring eyes and other features out more, like the unrealistically blue or green eyes sometimes seen in photos?
It will be greatly appreciated and help a lot too! :-D
Thanks - I believe I have covered all of those subjects on my site in one place or another but that makes it difficult to find the information you want, doesn't it?
Hair is always a problem because of the stringy bits but eyes are quite simple. A Hue and Saturation Adjustment Layer set to Colorize will give you the vibrant colors you want - check out the Color Change page on my site at the-graphics-tablet com.

Hey rich i got a question, im thinking about choosing this for my career path but i dont know what the average salary is? Would you be willing to share that?
Thanks so much you are great and very helpful! =] I'm only 11 but I'm so interested in Graphic Design and retouching, so these videos are easy to understand and great for beginners! Thankies!
I see what you mean - the left eye is a bit smaller.
If I wanted to fix that I would first use the Liquefy filter and if that didn't work then perhaps copy the good eye to a new layer, flip it and move it over the other eye.
When I smooth skin, I blue the skin, then click on the blur option under actions, and make it so it only works if you use the history brush tool. Then I take the History brush tool, and use it for the skin that needs to be blurred
I don't think people are waiting for yet another tutorial like this, but that's just me.
Btw, one should never use gaussian blur to smooth skin. To understand what I mean, select the face, just completely blur and then check the edges of important features, it suffers from severe color bleeding, because it blurs in pixels that are beyond the area what you want to blur. There are much better options.
I think Gaussian works just fine for a large number of portraits, even to the point of printing out without losing too much visible quality as long as you don't go overboard with the blur.

A tablet PC is not the same as an external tablet connected via the USB port - which is a large part of my site.
It will work buy not quite as precisely as the Bamboo or Intuos but way better than a mouse.
