  • Best way to learn this song is from a teacher, if that is impossible get the lyrics and notes and sing along with Nithyashri. She is great and she has not hurried through this song.

  • I'm a malayali but I know tamil fluently :) This is Telegu :) Thyagaraja krithis are all in telegu or sanskrit (of the panchkritis only Jagadanandakaraka is in Sanskrit)...there are plenty of beautiful tamil and sanskrit kritis, but this is definitely telugu :) thanks for posting!

  • This is telugu but lot of sanskrit which is about 50 percent tamil,be older than sanskit. This is definitely telugu.

  • @vjpillay

:)) What? lot of sanskrit which is about 50% Tamil?

Tamil is older than sanskrit? .. Utterly Stupid ! U know neither Sanskrit nor Telugu nor Tamil!

  • @harih122

    telegu or Telugu?

  • This is quite beautiful. By the way, this is not a tamil devotional. This is actually Tygaraja's TELEGU masterpiece and its not devotional but is actually a piece praising the artistes of the world

  • a very easy mistake for someone who is not south indian...thyagajara is from thiruvaiyur.

  • hello syellayi1

ur clasification may be good to u. because u wrote bhavulu as bhavalu ( which means brother-in-laws) so first think abt ur telugu, if u r andhrite or else first learn telugu. best wishes

  • hillarious! :))

    bhavulu - bavalu!!

  • I recently learned about aspirated consonent sounds, it's very funny, in english we don't notice it. Before I was like, "what? What is the difference between bha and ba?" But now I understand.

  • @dnssrao2006

    Bhavulu or Bhaavulu?

  • @Bushrraff

my dear friend if u translate telugu into english some times this confusion occurs. but actually it should be bhaavulu. but depending on the context some body can understand even if u write bhavulu. if u r familiar with telugu u will not feel difficult to read telugu in english style.
