  • japanese are too quiet, i like rowdy ass crowds like ecw or ring of honor.

it's very infectious and japan's culture is way too subdued.

  • owen sucks

  • @ the 3:40 min mark,

    Move #856 - ARMBAR.

  • Dragon's breathing: Haha. Haha. Haha. Haha. Haha.

  • owen's attire looks like a race car then a taxi....Ultimo Dragon is the shyt I never knew owen wrestled here after watching the jushin liger match

  • @jeffplaysska when he tag teamed with Koko B Ware in "High Energy"

  • @Aguzman0077

yea i know that with the power of the internet and parents but people say it looks like a taxi i just think it reminds me of a race car

  • @jeffplaysska it is reminiscent of a race car

  • puto ultimo dragon

  • Ultimo Dragon is my favourite wrestler of all time. With his combination of phenomenal martial arts and balance, fantastic technical chain wrestling ability, amazing submission and technical pinning talent, and not to mention that he patented the Asaii moonsault, and was the only American Television wrestler to ever possess anywhere close to 9 titles at once, he is no doubt the greatest in my mind. He brings out the best in those he wrestles without a doubt.

  • pause at :54 ,ouch

  • what year was this? i see owen's wearing his High Energy era attire, so I'd guess around 92, but I didn't know he'd gone to Japan outside of his pre-WWF run and his post-Blue Blazer/pre-New Foundation international tour.

  • @krazyzark 10.21.1992 says so at the very beginning, only thing i was able to understand amongst the Japanese

  • @desecrator1000 lol. thanks for that wake up call. must've just completely passed over the date there with all the Japanese text on the title card.

  • One streamer? Japanese fans are slacking.

  • In my opioun Ultimo Dragon has to be the best wrestler ever

  • @adam765432 YES!

  • @adam765432 So fucking true!

  • If I am in a big professional wrestling league some day. I'm going to move to Japan. Japan is so much more respectful for entertainers.

  • its so awkward to watch wrestling without a single sound....come on japs..at least say a thing or two

  • wow japan crowds are different from american lol. dead ass quiet

  • @djmac3005 I think every crowd is different from american lol.

  • @Renthefaceless lol. yea americans are fat slobbs XD they leave peanut shells and stuff all over ant ootball games hate doin stadium clean up

  • wooow what a great match

  • Nice to see a pure wrestling match, without Cole or some other ass-hole cutting promo's the whole time!

  • The late great Owen Hart vs ULtimo DRAgon

  • i had this dvd it was about rey mysterio and ultimo dragon the two most high fly wrestlers

  • does every American who goes to Japan have to rock the M.C hammer pants.

I wonder if Owen ever wrestled Eddie gurrero.

  • @hollywoodjokerpicalo man owen vs eddie back then would have been off the charts. i'd kill to see angle in his prime vs bret in his prime.

  • This is a great match. Five minutes in and I'm already amazed, I just wish wrestling matches are still performed like this one here. Instead of all this none sense we're getting from the so called mainstream elites. I miss Owen Hart so much. Truly underrated but never forgotten.

  • Oven was the younger brother of "HITMAN" breat hart !!

  • @EternalLoveism do you know how to spell? lol

  • @bigcnwo

    no i dont...

    r u hinglish teachr?

    Awwa ??!

  • @EternalLoveism lmao enough said

  • It's weird to hear it be so quiet. I know its because they're just into it but still.

  • High Energy Owen Hart for the win

  • Yes its HIGH ENERGY .

  • You have it listed as New Japan so why does the ring apron say WAR?

  • Wrestle Association R was a partner league of New Japan.

  • WAR had many partners. Most of the talent on the shows were from other promotions. Very few contracted wrestlers.

  • pios blepi ayte tis blakies?

  • is it me or does owen look like koko b ware?

  • actually i think it looks like he raided mc hammer's wardrobe

  • lol!

  • this was during the time when Hart was tagging with Koko B. Ware......their team was named "High Energy"

  • hes not black! fool

  • old videos with ultimo dragon and owen hart

  • Japanese crowds are always quiet. They clap and such when a good sequence takes place, does not mean that the crowd is "dead" as you put it.

  • well then let me say it an other way :

    i dont like quiet crowds...

  • In asian countries its disrespectful to make noise while someone is performing. you only acknowledge when something amazing happens but only quietly.

  • yeah, i got it....

im from germany and im not used to crowds like that

  • actually no, japanese crowd respects the wrestlers and matches, and dont cheer, they allow them to do there thing

  • got it^^

  • no i have been to japanese wrestling matches and there are lots of cheering sometimes (atleast in japan they arn't paid by mtv to fake cheer)

  • great match

  • damn, owen showed a lot of talent @ 5:38. RIP

  • Gah, good match but the sound is messed up. Kills the entire thing for me.

  • Totally Owen was at his best wrestling in Japan!

  • no mames puta lucha parece velorio

  • Thanks for the great upload. By the pants I'm guessing this is when Owen was tagging with Koko B Ware in WWF.

  • no by this time him and Jim had just started wrestling together

  • Actually it's his High Energy days with Koko because he's got braces

  • What year is this match? It's obviously the early 90's, but what year?

  • 1992.10.21, it's said in the beginning of the video

  • Owen loved to wrestle in Japan because in Japan and Europe etc, wrestlings a sport and a tradition, he just didnt like the american scene, he said he was planning on retiring and doing Japanese tours to keep up his physicality, but obviously that didnt happen.

  • lol Owen harts high energy days

  • His pants remind me of a taxi

  • yeah, i know, very bad choice...

  • @juleez73 he was wearing them when he teamed with Koko B. Ware...if I'm not mistakened?

  • @spiritjd33 Yeah they were High Energy in the early 90's!

  • @juleez73

That was back when he teamed together with Koko B. Ware. He addopted Koko's attire. And I think Jim Niedhart did too for a short while.

  • @Ragehead91 I remember seeing The Rocket Owen Hart and Neidhart teaming up, both were decked in that attire.

  • @Renthefaceless

Yes. For some reason they kept the attire for a short time even after Koko B. Ware left the WWE:

  • @juleez73

im assuming this was just because he was tagging with koko around this time? i remember them both wearing those tights for a bit. suited koko well...but nt so much owen.

  • @Killedbyamen That was when he and koko b. ware were taq team "high energy" The first black and white taq team

  • @MrLuiiziito I know this and they were NOT the 1st black & white tag team. They were the 1st in the WWF but not in wrestling as a whole.

  • The world will never know the true identity of the Blue Blazer.

  • what do you mean, years earlier he lost his mask as Blue Blazer in Mexico against one of Mexico's finest heavyweights Canek.

  • is owen hart blue blazer??

  • hall of fame 09

  • Owen Hart should of been WWE champion beside he knows how to wrestle

  • yeah he might have gotton a push eventually

  • and if it makes you feel any better he may be inducted into Hall of fame soon cuz he did have accolades like tag titles intercontinental and eauropean

  • and 2 time slammy award winner :)

  • King Of The Ring

  • ultimo dragon best wrestler ever

  • awesome match this is when wrestling was good

  • are those owen's "New Foundation" tights?

  • Those are his tights from the High Energy tag team he was in with Koko B. Ware

  • Yes he wore those with Koko as part of High Energy then he wore them when him & Neidhart were The New Foundation.

  • I'm trying to find some matches with Bret in NJPW also. But I'm glad I found this one.

  • That's how the crowd shows respect in Japan

  • actualy this match was in WAR, not NJPW. This is exactly I always felt Owen was better then Bret though, based on there work in Japan & Stampede. Not what the wwFe tried to shove down our throats. None the less good to see 2 of my influences face one another

    RIP & Thank You Owen

  • What gave that away. The fact that the ring apron says WAR on it?

  • I wasn[t even noticeing that actualy, just pointing it out to the one that uploaded the video

  • LTIMO DRAGON=THE BEST r~i~p owen

  • good memorys or Owen, and Dragon is amazing

  • Neat video. Thanks for posting.

Kinda weird to see Dragon without the Shin pads.

  • Wow! Didn't know those 2 legends wrestled each other thanks

  • awesome
