There are different kinds of "ecumenism" and different types of anti-ecumenism. This video assumes that Orthodoxy is without cultural influences and traditions.

What are you talking about? Orthodox countries were conquered by Turks and the West refused to help them. Some of the people in those countries did indeed convert to Islam, but usually for privileges. A lot more died for their faith. The only people in the Ottoman Empire I know of to have massively converted to Islam are Albanians. And they were Roman Catholic originally.

It doesnt matter what I am. All I stated were facts. There is no room for Grace in Orthodoxy. I do not make this because I am Catholic but because I was Orthodox for a time. There is no life in this church. I would go as far to say that it is a huge cult that teaches they are the only truth. No Grace!! Not VERY CHRIST !!LIKE...

You Othodox Pompass ass. Who do you think Christ came for. Your Priests think they stand the office of Christ(forgive and retain sins) This is the largest heretical idea I have ever heard. If they have this power where are the signs and wonders and healings. Oh yeah they cant. Orthodoxy could use a simple sunday school lesson in grace. Something structured for children so they dont get lost in there own intelectual thoughts and so called ancient theology tradition or dogma.

Should I even begin to describe to you how many times Catholic countries have been at war with each other? Georgians and Russians have always been religiously in communion, but they have political problems that have nothing to do with religion. And what may be this disagreement you've created?

It is normal to be at war with others. That is part of the human nature. It is sort of an art not to wage wars but still be independant or free from foreign rulership. Actually, history proofs that this is not possible at all.

I converted to Orthodoxy from the humanist Protestantism. We are all very united in faith unlike you Protestants who think they have a special power to interpret the Bible according to their own interests. That's why there are some many sects.
Also how many wars between Protestant countries occured? Don't give me shit about about Russia v. Georgia

Be serious. Is the existence of atheists a sort of measuring the truthfulness of a certain local church? Is there not atheism in countries where Papism used to be the prevalent religion? What about France where atheism started officially from? What about Germany and all those protestant countries that went away from Rome? Is your point that Vatican is the true church because there is not atheism in Vatican? You weren't an Orthodox. Never. That's obvious.

I WAS AN ORTHODOX. First atheist was way before France. He came from Arabian Peninsula. Germany is not majority Protestant still. Orthodoxy has low church attendance like 5% in Russia. Take a look at my city Volgograd.

Welcome to the faith, I only hope where you practice the faith it isn't watered down by the modernist mass that we have here in America. I hear the current Pope wants to bring the Western mass closer to the more traditional ways of worship that is seen in the Orthodox Churches.

If it is fiction to believe in UFOs then our whole existence is fiction too (also a possibility of viewing things...).
It is not a shame to "believe" in UFOs. You can do a research and find out that UFOs are very real, a German invention that was perverted by the allied leadership to keep it secret. If you're interested search for haunebu. It's kind of interesting using implosion instead of explosion (they took it from their philosophy of not to destroy).
