very impressive work ... i makes my mind race just thinking of all the possibilities that could be utilized with video from a rock and roll show ... nice work sir
Thanks for visiting my channel ! This video def deserves more views! I personally think using the disc golfing as part of the concept is a brilliant idea and very hard to achieve because of all the bushes etc. It is a very tiresome thing to do with a lot of ragged edges but in CS5 PS the refine edge option would have helped you loads. Keep it up because for a first go it is brilliant. My only criticism is the opening titles, but then again mine was utter shite when I started lol.
@NHBEY39 Thanks for watching. I did use CS5 and since this was my first go at it, my "refine edge" skill was not that refined yet:) I did learn much as I did each section and I think my last one in the clip is the best of the four. And you are right with the title. It was one of those things whereas I just wanted to get the video uploading quickly one day and I didnt put much thought into the title. It is pretty much "shite". I've done much better since.
@slambo239 I'm having the same problem at the moment with a project, I'm on the verge of banging any old titles and any old music into it because I spent so much time on the vid itself lol. I think taking a breather for a day or two helps you focus again so you dont half do the job. Watching your vid again I still think you did an amazing job for the stage your at. It is not an obvious rip off of anyone elses work and very original. Look forward to seeing your future projects.
@thoughtgrenades Since I am new to this technique and that was my first try at it..it took a while. About 2 hours at least per segment. The cropping of the layers and re-cloning(painting) in the areas after cropping is slow work. Especially if you are going to mix in the actual video in front & back. The areas around each layer can show the slightest change in texture if not cloned properly. You can barely see the splits when i cut from video to 3D. The last one is my best i think.
And what was the music called?

@WhattheHeckstudios I am working on a DIY for this now. I thought it was a good idea to do one per your suggestion. The music is D.T. by AC/DC, btw.

Can you post how (step by step) you were able to do this?

What an amazing video...3D is radical! And how in the heck do you make it look like you actually know how to throw a frisbee?! Hee!

Brilliant. How long do you reckon each segment took you to make?
