Maybe someone should do some research before just reading crackpot theories of why the world goes through natural temperature change cycles and focus on getting relevant data which supports or disproves the theories.

No one was worried about a second ice age in the 1600s, but that's the coldest the temperature has been since before Christ. Not to mention that in the 8th and 9th centuries is was far warmer than it is now.
