  • love your videos!

  • were did u get ur monitors from bro? they look great!! nice setup as well :)

  • @kinyo1878 Cheers man! I'm really pleased with them :) I got them refurbished from eBay. They're way under £100 now :) Getting harder to come across though...

  • hey i thought u were running windows 7?!?!? how and why did u switch to apple OS??

  • @Shazzyb0y14 I've been using the Mac platform for around 5 or 6 years now (since Tiger) - I use Windows for gaming. :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour thanks 4 the reply! btw do u keep switching between windows n mac? coz i cant see ur pc with windows in it!

  • @Shazzyb0y14 My Mac and PC are both connected to this setup through a KVM switch. The PC lives close to the floor on a small shelf (the opposite side of my desk to the Mac Pro). The PC is just for gaming as you know from my build series.

  • you do live lighting? awsome just like me!

  • @hizip123 I do indeed! :)

  • What is that status widget called. Nice video

  • @itsmynaturalcolour, i have one of these, you made me want another one! (8

  • That is very sleek, mate! I am quite envious!

Now you might have covered this in the video and I didn't hear it but what is the resolution on one of those monitors?

  • @GeneralNerevarine I just realised that I had already commented on this vid with almost the exact same comment.... how embarrassing... this falls under one of those "awkward moment when...." moments.

  • @GeneralNerevarine Haha no probs man! 1680x1050 :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour That's pretty good! And how about the refresh rate?

  • @GeneralNerevarine Probably something around 5ms. There should be a spec sheet online somewhere :)

  • Do you have your dual screen set-up running with you're gaming pc?

  • Are you related to Jimmy Saville?

  • cool setup

  • this vid did not show in my sub box werid

  • Looks very slick mate! I envy you!

But will you have some gameplay videos up from your gaming PC soon? It has been a while since you finished that build and we haven't yet seen anything.

  • awesome!

  • Tom, I've got a question that I hope you reply to. You must be 16/17 years old? That surely means that you could of only been working part time for 2 years max - how the heck can you afford all them computers, all that stuff in your music room and still have extra cash for anything else?! I must know your secrets!

  • @UniversalTechNews Correct, I'm 17. I've ran a mobile DJ service from the ages 13-16. I also attended a local theatre as a technician and lit every show. Those 2 things are where the majority of the cash came from :) But remember, I find awesome bargains!

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Do you buy second hand at any point? :D

  • @UniversalTechNews Indeed I do :) I'd say about 80% of my possessions are second hand. I always keep my eye out for a good deal :)

  • I have a dual monitor setup but it looks abit out of place ha they are both 19" but one is a tv and the other is a pc monitor but it still works i guess so i dont mind ha

  • Hi Tom.Can you make some gaming videos on your new pc?

  • 285e!!!!

  • I really like your setup man! Guess what, i just got a new dell ultrasharp 2009w monitor and i shot an unboxing that will soon be added to my channel. Cant wait for the christmas unboxings!

  • i have dual apple's 27-inch displays and i love it, I can never go back to one display, by the way nice looking setup you have there

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour That's sucks! I'll have to keep a good eye on eBay then. Looking forward for the music studio videos next year! Keep the brilliant videos coming! Taryll ;)

  • how do you like the older isight camera?

  • So jealous of your Dual Screen set-up!! Wish I had a bigger room for workspace like yours, considering I want to be a music producer and I do a lot of work in FL Studio 10 ;) how much were the screens? Thinking about getting one.

  • @TheDJTappy Thanks man! :) You can't buy this model off the shelf anymore, but they often turn up on eBay. I bought my first one refurbished for around £130 ages ago, and the second one cost me around £70 I believe...

  • nice setup

  • Hey Tom what are the model numbers of your monitors? And are they any good?

  • @xSiiKS4Mx They're Dell Ultrasharp 2009w monitors. They're fantastic if you like 16:10 aspect ratio and 20" monitors for a good price :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Would you recommend 16:10 monitors or 16:9 monitors? I do like the "tallness" of the old 4:3 monitors but i'm thinking of upgrading. Would you recommend this???

  • Awesome Set Up!

By the Way: I didn't win the Auction....

  • @Despero96 Ahh man... It wasn't meant to be. I hope you have better luck soon :)

  • Uploaded on my birthday, ayyyyoooooooooo ;D

  • Good videos as all ways

  • Once again dude, great video... Love the dualscreen! Alot of people neglet dual screen by using one main monitor then just sticking another one to the right of it and not using it for much but you've utilized them well! I love the way you've used your Mac Pro as a divider, I might do that with my G5 that I'm getting in a couple of months.

  • Love the setup! I just got an Ikea Galant and a Dell 2009W ironically and I love it! Cheers!

    -Frank

  • FINALLY.

  • nice video!!

do u have the gaming pc hooked up to both screens?

  • Hello, i just recently subscribed to you, and i was wondering. Do you remember how much you paid for your gaming pc that you have? Im hoping to build a gaming pc for christmas, thanks:)!

  • @AWTAssassin Hey man! Thanks for the subscription :) I think the retail value of all the components (at the time) was around £700 / £720. I waited for good deals and I only payed about £600 / £650 for the whole thing. I guess now you could build this machine easily for £600 considering the release of the new CPU's. Having said that, I haven't checked the prices of the older stuff to see how much it's gone down.

    Hope this helps :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Thanks for the quick reply :), Yeah, i was planning out my PC build and it was averaging around $740, so i think thats a decent price for a mid - high range pc:) Once again thank you, and I'm looking forward to the december unboxings!!

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour AMD 955 is now discontinued but Dabs still have it for £90. Also, hard drives are so expensive now so you'd be looking at a easy £700 to be honest.
