@21Yiannis I use a 10 meter in the house, out of sight and also a 30 meter outside of the house. Sometimes I connect them at the same time and the shorter one can be a counter poise. Both antennas are horizontal to lesson the man made noise and are about ten feet (3 meters) above ground level. If you use a tree at the end of the antenna, use a spring to relieve the stress on the wire.
