  • well I'm on low boost and my cars horspower was already peaky in stock form so that's why I get like 70more hp then torque

  • How does it get more torque than hp. I mean my trubo RSX-S is 254whp and 191wtq on about 6.5psi. The Civic should have less tourque

  • @MaddDogg81 Your rsx makes all its torque (and power, since horsepower is calculated from torque) at high rpms, if you look, all dyno plots have the torque and hp lines crossing at around 5200rpms. If your torque peak is below 5200rpm, you will have more torque than hp. If your torque peak is above 5200, you will have more hp than torque.

Lots of engines make more torque than hp, especially in turbocharged form.

  • How much boost and wtq. I myself have a turbo RSX-S

  • @MaddDogg81 182whp, 195ftwtq @ 7psi (holding), 10psi (peak).

  • how much did u pay to have ur car tuned their i was thinking about going their or 9secracing in fort collins or import sports

  • haw is the daily drive? idle? any issue?

  • nice

  • you could make massively bigger gains from this turbo, alot ore then 60whp...

  • how many whp added?

    1.8 r18a1 engine produce 140 hp

  • honda rates their hp at the flywheel so thats where the 140hp come from, its more like 120ish at the wheels. with the kit i made 182whp which is about 205 at the flywheel, so whp gain is about 60hp

  • thanks your car is good and another question my friend how did you set the psi?, i have mine civic 4 doors with the tsi kit it arrives 15 psi and i broke a rod and a piston now i bought another rod and oiston, i need to mind the set of the pressure for not happening that again

  • 7.5 psi and Im in Denver

  • @Blackmagic1088 haw is the daily drive? idle? any issue?

  • @livisbox Had lots of issues with it over all. wasnt much of a daily since it had problems most of the time. ended up taking it all off. But this was before hondata come out with their flashpro for the r18. maybe when i find time and more funds ill give it another shot but not sure i would recommend the tsi kit. heard that there were a few more companies making kits for the r18 so i would suggest holding off until there are more options & people to learn the motor and figure out the kinks.

  • hi how much psi you run?
