Stuff like that is exactly what starts almost all of my parent's arguments lol My mom asks my dad to do something, my dad doesn't hear it, and my mom gets mad and says, "Just forget it!" lol But, yeah, I'm on your side, Mully!! It bothers me when people don't repeat stuff if I don't hear it! Then I'm constantly wondering what I missed! :P You and Tomoko are so cute, though lol
Ahh the married life. A simple argument turns into a great youtube video. I am like Mully in that I would be going crazy knowing what Tomoko said, even if it wasn't anything important. Just say it, even if it dumb. It will ease my mind. I am with you Mully.
I agree with each of you because Mrs. Mully probably realized after she asked you what the answer to her question was so she probably just said forget it. I do the same thing. I drive my husband crazy with the same thing so 50/50!

(and next time mumble something from your man cave, when she comes to ask what you said, tell her nevermind. See what reaction she gives you, if she says ok fine, then do the same with her, if she gets pushy like you.. well.. that's all i have to say, but least of all.. Love your wife bro)
Male and female logic... "forget it" can drive men nuts. It's possibly the most annoying thing a woman can say, because just like you said, you're going to think about it all day... and longer. But from a woman's view... if you could forget it, there's no problem. Only problem is: you (or at least I) can't forget it just like that...
In her defence though, she should definitely put her feet up there.
