She is like John Williams; her technique is not only flawless, but it seems easy for her. I wonder if there are any videos of her doing some Rodrigo, because if she can make his music seem easy, then she really is the most incredible player.
@TheMplusE John Williams plays its slightly better imo, Vidovic is great and a classical guitar shredder but she accidentally hits open notes at least twice in this video which would make it not clean.
This is a demonstration of technical skills, but this is not music. Music is feeling. Listen to Segovia. He may not have this technical skills, but his interpretation of Asturias is so much better...
Each and everyone opinion is their own. None can say which better than which. one can only say their preferences. What are you and what right do you have to conclude that this is not music? Arrogant fools. whine all over the place all you want but she is not going to go down by someone close minded like you.
Everybody plays this song differently..Ana Vidovic seems to play it with aggression,Andre Segovia plays this song a little slow and gentle(in my opinion) and John Williams plays this in a medium paced with much less aggression.
I agree with you. We are all bound by our own perception of things and this is how ana perceive this song. Instead of us flaming her with not being original or too fast we should give little praise to her for accomplishing with perceiving this music with her own perception.
@EWERTism one of my favourite versions too but it's too much based on speed and not style or emotion but as for the speed i think albeniz didn't have a slow-mo retard kind of speed in mind when he wrote that piece but more something like THAT, i guess.
mute the sound, just watch... or don't :-)
