The 6" monitor connects via RCA, by running the 6" LCD screen at its native resolution of 640x480 everything is crystal clear... 800x600 also looks decent, but resolutions higher than that look terrible.
is the 6" monitor connected via the rca cable? because when i hook my video card up to my lcd tv with that same type of cable it works but is very bad quality
@fireninjawolf The 6" monitor is normally for use in the headrest of a car, it is connected via RCA to the mainboard. I have also connected this type of monitor to video cards with S-video by using an adapter.
what is the name of the dvd drive you have in your case... im lookin for one that let the disc slide straight in like that.. your mini-itx is hot to..
hey, that case of yours is just amazing, you do quite amazing work. Love the illusion!
i got to this by looking for "case lighting" and your web came up, pretty great, i love your tutorials and plan to use them on my case, you are great!
wait does it have room for a graphics card, i just a bit hard to see, other than that it is very good work, i have taken on the cube shape as well, but bit bigger to fit in more, 12inch cube instead, i love the olustion idea that is so cooolllll!!!

Hi!
I still like this mod! It inspired me to build an illusion case myself. There is still loads of work to do, but there is progress.
I want to thank you for the inspiration and the information on your site.
Keep up the good work

Thanks. The PSU is a PW200M, it's really small and attached directly to the mother board.

How do connect the 6" lcd monitor with RCA jack to the computer that works like the normal vga does? thanks
vicvoon 3 years ago
The 6" monitor connects via RCA to a video card that either has RCA out, or has S-video out and then using an S-video to RCA adapter.

What 6" LCD Screen did you use?
bobthediscoking 3 years ago
I got the 6" LCD screen from Parts Express, I have no clue who produces the monitor because there are no discerning marks.
