When Lucien first told me about The Purification I though they are checking me OR Lucien has some instest in killing them. I wanted to kill Lucien but finally killed my family members :( So sad.
My bro was watching star wars when i was doing this quest and the music in the movie when all the jedi are dying really made this sad when i was killing all my brothers.
The dark brotherhood ends up like this-Your former family member-assassins dead, the black hand dead (Save one boring high elf) and 3 unnamed followers that have absolutely no personality....
I was really satisfied when Lucien lahance was hung upside down stabbed beaten and burned then got his entrails feasted on and hen later on killing the real traiter for making the purification quest pointless
if that the first woman you he kills in this video is not there then she is in the hotel in the closest hotel in the only upstairs room :) rate so everyone can seee
It's kinda ironic that the Dark Brotherhood are a pack of remorseless assassins
But yet, they are the ones that treated you like a true brother unlike the other guilds (Fuck Arcane University man) .....I really hated killing them, for assassins, they make really good friends to your player

These dark brotherhood quests gets quite disturbing if you socialize with your targets before you kill them, which is not clever. This quest, and the quest where you shall assassinate guests in a party.
I always thought Lucien was the traitor, so I downright refused to do this quest, and I looked on some Oblivion playthroughs and realised you HAVE to do it....
is there any way to avoid killing them?????? it makes no sense that there is an alternative to killing the snake tail guy or w.e hpefully in skyrim they have more alternate roots to situations like this
Is it bad that at about 1:18 I actually shouted "Pick up the fu**ing Nirnroot!". I gave up doing that stupid quest where you have to collect over 100 of the damn things, it's not fun at all, which makes it pointless. Don't even get me started on the 100 callipers/tongs quest for The Shivering Isles...
I was level 5 at the time so I'd smack one, lure them all the way out of the house, and have the gaurds take em out. Good weapons at a low level ftw:)

Same. I couldn't go on with this quest on my first playthrough. I however did it on my second playthrough as I wanted to see how the story unfolds afterwards, but it was saddening killing all of them. Dark Brotherhood people have been so much nicer to your character than Fighters Guild or any other guilds.

hero hill i put black soul gems there they not hard to make but the grand soul gems a little hard to find and necromancers make them out side of a cave not far from there but you do need a special tomb or alter whatever and the guy making it has a not to make the black soul gems. One more thing you need a soul trap spell to make it. 2 i think you need a mages guild campaign to make it apperial or something i dont know

LOL! purification brings one HORRIBLE memory back! i remember i had cheated my way to lvl 255 and i was going to kill the skeleton guy, AND I DIED OVER 20 TIMES! then i figured i didnt have to kill him -.-
even if you cheat your level up, your stats are still same as in the level one. but if you cheated your skill and made them like hundred or something and then went to sleep to get a level, then there would be no problem.

hero hill i put black soul gems there they not hard to make but the grand soul gems a little hard to find and necromancers make them out side of a cave not far from there but you do need a special tomb or alter whatever and the guy making it has a not to make the black soul gems. One more thing you need a soul trap spell to make it. 2 i think you need a mages guild campaign to make it apperial or something i dont know

Damnit I hated this Mission so much.
I liked these guys and really didnt want to kill them - especially Vicente and M'raj-Dar.
At least theres a Mod on the Net in which you can warn them and they Return after the Questline is finished and you are Listener.
I remember killing those two with an Arrow from behind.

i hate to do this quest because you have to kill a khajiit and my character is a khajiit, at the start i don't like them but with my character i start to like them, and the khajiit says that is going to be your friend and then you have to smash his head from behind, is a kind of sad but is just a game, the good side of this is that you grab too much stuff. : )

2 mistakes: One, you don't have to kill the dark guardian 2, always loot the body of any person you kill.

i heard you could use the complete quest command. is that true? i ReallY dont want to kill them. I already made a lucien copy by selecting him then using createfullactorcopy so i could run a full sanctuary but then he told me i have to kill them

At first, I wuz like O_o. then i realized i had to kill that vampire dude (forgot name), so i killed them all :'( then i resurrected that vampire dude, and still completed the quest so i had no regret. :D

No actually u didn't have to kill schemer or the dark guardian, and btw it's not that his character is weak, but unlike u guys he doesn't play on the easy difficulty!

LOL! purification brings one HORRIBLE memory back! i remember i had cheated my way to lvl 255 and i was going to kill the skeleton guy, AND I DIED OVER 20 TIMES! then i figured i didnt have to kill him -.-

even if you cheat your level up, your stats are still same as in the level one. but if you cheated your skill and made them like hundred or something and then went to sleep to get a level, then there would be no problem.

This quest was so easy, i killed Ocheeva right in front of Vicente and he walked away...the only guy i found hard was the Khajiit, i hate fire magic (being a vamp an' all)
