  • I also did my first Trek in Martin's cove and I was only 14 years old. It changed my life.

  • my ward was going on the trek and i hated the idea of going. we were hiking out to the buses to go home when a man collapsed he had a massive heart attack that day he died on the trail the trek was one of the most real expeirences i will have ever had and it saved me i am no longer swearing and i am off the road that would only hurt me i truly understand what the pioneers went through and i am so thankful they did because of them i have the truth and an eternal family!

  • In the Spring and Summer of 1997 during the Sesquicentennial Mormon Trail Wagon Train we pulled our handcart across the plains in the real tracks of the pioneers of 150 years earlier. I will forever remember those days, just like our ancestors in whose tracks we retraced to Zion. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking, the trail dusty, hot and grueing. Our children who pulled that handcart with us will forever recall the trials and tribulations they faced & overcame. 70,000 greeted us in SL

  • @neoshoman

I live in Wyoming and we had the oppurtunity a couple years ago to do a trek in Martin's cove and along the sweetwater river. It was a powerful experience that I'll never forget. I think I put together this video shortly after that.

  • Awesome. I have only fond memories of my pioneer trek. It brings back a flood of things in my mind....It makes an 18 year old male come to tears just thinking about it :)
